Abstract

An adhesive film that includes a first region having a first hardness, and second regions disposed on opposing sides of the first region and having a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness.

Claims

1. An adhesive film comprising:

a first region having a first hardness; and

second regions having a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness.

2. The adhesive film of claim 1, wherein the first region is disposed between the second regions, with respect to a bending direction of the adhesive film.

3. The adhesive film of claim 1, wherein:

the adhesive film comprises a plurality of the first regions; and

the first and second regions are alternately disposed along a bending direction of the adhesive film.

4. The adhesive film of claim 1, wherein the thickness of the adhesive film is in a range of 25 μ

m to 100 μ

m.

5. The adhesive film of claim 1, wherein the adhesive film comprises at least one of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA), n-butyl acrylate (n-BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), and acrylic acid (AAc).

6. An adhesive film having a hardness that is gradually increased from a center thereof toward edges thereof.

7. The adhesive film of claim 6, wherein the hardness gradually increases in a bending direction of the adhesive film.

8. The adhesive film of claim 6, wherein the hardness is gradually increased in a radial pattern.

9. A manufacturing method of an adhesive film, the method comprising:

disposing an adhesive material on a support substrate;

selectively hardening the adhesive material to form an adhesive layer having different hardnesses; and

separating the support substrate and the adhesive layer.

10. The manufacturing method of claim 9, wherein the selective hardening of the adhesive material comprises:

irradiating the entire adhesive material with ultraviolet rays; and

farther irradiating portions of the adhesive material with ultraviolet rays.

11. The manufacturing method of claim 10, wherein the further irradiating comprises using a mask that exposes opposing edges of the adhesive material.

12. The manufacturing method of claim 10, wherein the further irradiating comprises using a mask that covers portions of the adhesive material that are spaced apart by an interval in a bending direction of the adhesive layer.

13. The manufacturing method of claim 9, wherein the adhesive material comprises at least one of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA), n-butyl acrylate (n-BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), and acrylic acid (AAc).

14. A display device comprising:

a substrate;

a protective film disposed on a first side the substrate;

a display panel disposed on an opposing second side of the substrate;

a touch panel disposed on the display panel;

a polarizer disposed on the touch panel;

a window disposed on the polarizer;

a first adhesive film disposed between the substrate and the protective film; and

a second adhesive film disposed between the display panel and the touch panel,

wherein the first and second adhesive films each comprise a first region having a first hardness and second regions having a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness.

15. The display device of claim 14, wherein the second regions are disposed at opposing sides of the first region, with respect to a bending direction of the adhesive film.

16. The display device of claim 14, wherein:

the adhesive film comprises a plurality of the first regions; and

the first and second regions are alternately disposed in a bending direction of the adhesive film.

17. The display device of claim 14, wherein the thickness of each adhesive film is in a range of 25 μ

m to 100 μ

m.

18. The display device of claim 14, wherein each adhesive film comprises at least one of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA), n-butyl acrylate (n-BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), and acrylic acid (AAc).

19. The display device of claim 14, further comprising a third adhesive film disposed between the touch panel and the polarizer,

wherein the third adhesive film comprises a first region having the first hardness, and a second region having the second hardness.

20. The display device of claim 14, further comprising a fourth adhesive film disposed between the window and the polarizer,

wherein the fourth adhesive film comprises a first region having the first hardness, and second regions having the second hardness.
