Abstract

Method of organizing and storing data in an information infrastructure by either processing data throughput or a method for processing data throughput or data mining in a distributed computing system works using a tagging routine. The system and method operates on sensitive content (e.g., trade secrets) or select content (e.g., critical content) and applies configurable filters (expanding, contracting, hierarchical/orthogonal classifier filters) to separate and store sensitive/select data in designated, distributed data stores or to supplement data collections. Sensitive/select data stores may have security clearance requirements. Data output is controlled to provide one or more of storage in predetermined data stores, data mining, coping, transfer to other storage sites, supplemental data searches, and presentation subject to data inquiry.

Claims

1. A method of organizing and storing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput in a distributed computing system with respective ones of a plurality of filters, comprising:

identifying sensitive content or select content in said data throughput with one or more of said plurality of filters, said sensitive content represented by one or more sensitive words, characters, images, data elements or data objects therein grouped into a plurality of sensitivity levels, said select content represented by one or more predetermined words, characters, images, data elements or data objects;

extracting and tagging said sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput;

data processing said sensitive content or said select content via said tags with one or more of;

a data storage process storing, in one or more data stores of a plurality of predetermined data stores;

a data mining process;

a copy process;

a transfer process to other predetermined storage stores;

supplemental data search process; and

,

a presentation process to a data inquiry.

2. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein said data throughput is a source document and the method includes:

generating one or more tear lines for said source document based upon said tags for said sensitive content or said select content.

3. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 2 wherein generating said tear lines employs a rule-based filters including content and contextual filters.

4. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 3 including:

an operator selection of at least one tear line parameter from the group of parameters including;

contextual range of content sensitive content or select content;

contextual contiguous content stream range;

categorical identification;

taxonomic classification;

tagging contextual ranges for said tear line in said source document;

altering said tag for said sensitive content or said select content based upon said content and contextual filters; and

,

verifying said tag for said sensitive content or said select content with an inference engine.

A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein the extracting and tagging of said sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput uses respective ones of said plurality of filters and, in the event of overlapping tags for a respective sensitive content or said select content found in said data throughput, the tag for the overlapped respective sensitive content or said select content is incremented or decremented per a rule.

A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein said data processing of said sensitive content or said select content via said tags responds to either recognition of financial consideration or data barter or data exchange.

7. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein said extracting and tagging said sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput is based upon one or more tags relative to:

financial data,

data unique to a service level,

health data,

consumer data,

customer data,

competitor data,

personnel data,

intellectual property data; and

,

public company reporting data.

8. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tagged sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput is used is a data search and respective tags used as search terms.

A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tagged sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput is used to maintain anonymity of data stores for said sensitive content or said select content.

10. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput in a distributed computing system with respective ones of a plurality of filters, comprising:

identifying sensitive content or select content in said data throughput with one or more of said plurality of filters, said sensitive content represented by one or more sensitive words, characters, images, data elements or data objects therein grouped into a plurality of sensitivity levels, said select content represented by one or more predetermined words, characters, images, data elements or data objects;

extracting said sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput;

classifying the extracted sensitive content or said select content from said data throughput with a taxonomic category filter;

associating respective tags to the classified extracted sensitive content or said select content; and

using the classification tags in a structured data format.

11. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 10 wherein:

the associated respective tags are used as labels in said structured data format.

12. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 10 including:

using said associated respective tags in said data throughput as placeholders therein.

13. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 10 wherein the associated respective tags are used by:

data processing said sensitive content or said select content via said tags with one or more of;

a data storage process storing, in one or more data stores of a plurality of predetermined data stores;

a data mining process;

a copy process;

a transfer process to other predetermined storage stores;

supplemental data search process; and

,

a presentation process to a data inquiry.

14. A method of organizing data in an information infrastructure and for processing data throughput as claimed in claim 10 wherein

the associated respective tags are used to map said sensitive content or said select content in said data throughput by employing categorical labels from said taxonomic category filter along one axis of said map and representations of said sensitive content or said select content on another axis of said map.
