Abstract

According to a general aspect, a method can include receiving a request, triggered via a consumer account, to access, using a social media application, a plurality of sharer content. The sharer content can be associated with a sharer account using the social media application. The method can include retrieving, in response to the request, a consumer value and a relationship value. The consumer value can represent an interaction with the social media application via the consumer account and the relationship value can characterize a relationship between a consumer identifier of the consumer account and a sharer identifier of the sharer account. The method can include selecting a subset of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content based on a combination of the consumer value and the relationship value, and can include defining a portion of a presentation customized for the consumer account using the selected subset of sharer content.

2. A computer-implemented method comprising:

receiving, by one or more computing devices, a request, to access a plurality of sharer content associated with a sharer account;

retrieving, in response to the request, a plurality of consumer values representing a plurality of interactions during a time period occurring before the request was received;

defining a first portion of a presentation based on the plurality of consumer values and a first portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content;

detecting an interaction with the first portion of the presentation; and

defining a second portion of the presentation based on a combination of the plurality of consumer values, a second portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content, and the interaction with the first portion of the presentation.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 wherein the first portion of the presentation has a duration corresponding to a duration of a composition time window.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 comprising accessing, in response to the request, a relationship value representing a relationship between a consumer of a consumer account and a sharer of the sharer account.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 comprising:

selecting a subset of the sharer content based on a relationship value; and

defining a configuration of the subset of the sharer content within the first portion of the presentation based on the relationship value.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 comprising:

identifying a consumer associated with the request; and

including a reference to the sharer content associated with the sharer account based on a relationship between a sharer of the sharer account and the consumer.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 comprising retrieving a content value representing a characteristic of the first portion of sharer content and second portion of sharer content.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 comprising associating the first portion of the presentation with a specified contextual category.

9. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 wherein detecting the interaction with the first portion of the presentation includes detecting an interaction with references included in the first portion of the presentation.

10. A system comprising:

one or more processors; and

a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to;

receive a request, to access a plurality of sharer content associated with a sharer account;

retrieve, in response to the request, a plurality of consumer values representing a plurality of interactions during a time period occurring before the request was received;

define a first portion of a presentation based on the plurality of consumer values and a first portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content;

detect an interaction with the first portion of the presentation; and

define a second portion of the presentation based on a combination of the plurality of consumer values, a second portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content, and the interaction with the first portion of the presentation.

11. The system of claim 10 wherein the first portion of the presentation has a duration corresponding to a duration of a composition time window.

12. The system of claim 10 wherein the system is further configured to access, in response to the request, a relationship value representing a relationship between a consumer of a consumer account and a sharer of the sharer account.

13. The system of claim 10 wherein the system is further configured to:

select a subset of the sharer content based on a relationship value; and

define a configuration of the subset of the sharer content within the first portion of the presentation based on the relationship value.

14. The system of claim 10 wherein the system is further configured to:

identify a consumer associated with the request; and

include a reference to the sharer content associated with the sharer account based on a relationship between a sharer of the sharer account and the consumer.

15. The system of claim 10 wherein the system is further configured to retrieve a content value representing a characteristic of the first portion of sharer content and second portion of sharer content.

16. The system of claim 10, wherein the system is further configured to associate the first portion of the presentation with a specified contextual category.

17. The system of claim 10, wherein the system is further configured to detect the interaction with the first portion of the presentation includes detecting an interaction with references included in the first portion of the presentation.

18. A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer useable medium including a computer readable program, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causers the computer to:

receive a request, to access a plurality of sharer content associated with a sharer account;

retrieve, in response to the request, a plurality of consumer values representing a plurality of interactions during a time period occurring before the request was received;

define a first portion of a presentation based on the plurality of consumer values and a first portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content;

detect an interaction with the first portion of the presentation; and

define a second portion of the presentation based on a combination of the plurality of consumer values, a second portion of sharer content from the plurality of sharer content, and the interaction with the first portion of the presentation.

19. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the first portion of the presentation has a duration corresponding to a duration of a composition time window.

20. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on the computer also causes the computer to access, in response to the request, a relationship value representing a relationship between a consumer of a consumer account and a sharer of the sharer account.

21. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on the computer also causes the computer to:

select a subset of the sharer content based on a relationship value; and

define a configuration of the subset of the sharer content within the first portion of the presentation based on the relationship value.

22. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on the computer also causes the computer to:

identify a consumer associated with the request; and

include a reference to the sharer content associated with the sharer account based on a relationship between a sharer of the sharer account and the consumer.

23. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on the computer also causes the computer to retrieve a content value representing a characteristic of the first portion of sharer content and second portion of sharer content.

24. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on the computer also causes the computer to associate the first portion of the presentation with a specified contextual category.

25. The computer program product of claim 18, wherein the detection of the interaction with the first portion of the presentation includes detection of an interaction with references included in the first portion of the presentation.
