1. A managed biometric-based notification system for identifying a predetermined person by using biometrics and notifying at least one user of this, the system comprising:

  • at least one image acquiring system adapted to capture a first content comprising a feature set;

    a comparison module configured to receive the first content, the comparison module including at least one processor, at least one database comprising a second content, the second content comprising a feature set of the predetermined person, at least one search engine operatively coupled with the at least one image acquiring system and the at least one database, a memory, the at least one processor is operatively coupled with the at least one image acquiring system and the at least one search engine, programmed to execute a series of instructions, stored on the memory, to compare the feature set of the first content with a feature set of the second content to determine a comparison and compare the comparison with a threshold for similarity, the threshold for similarity being modifiable by the at least one user;

    at least one notification component including at least one transmitted data point;

    at least one pre-selected receiving node of at least one user;

    a content management module arranged for controlling and managing the system, the content management module comprising;

    a case module configured to update the second content stored in the database with the first content acquired by the image acquiring system;

    a notification module configured to determine a transmission of the at least one notification component to the pre-selected receiving node of the at least one user;

    a subscription content module configured to increase the second content by utilizing data from a third party, wherein subscription allows the comparison module to extract and compare the feature set of the first content and a feature set of the second content from the third party;

    a database browsing and reporting module configured to allow the at least one user to search the database and generate reports; and

    a support module configured to communicate with an administrator of the managed biometric-based notification system wherein the content management module is configured to transmit the notification component to the at least one pre-selected receiving node as a result of the compared feature sets of the first and second content upon at least meeting the similarity requirement.
