Abstract

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a breath holdable time of a subject; and adjust a parameter value of an imaging parameter included in imaging condition for imaging of the subject, according to the breath holdable time.

Claims

1. A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprising:

a processor; and

a memory that stores processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to;

receive a breath holdable time of a subject; and

adjust a parameter value of an imaging parameter included in imaging condition for imaging of the subject, according to the breath holdable time.

2. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 1, wherein,

in receiving the breath holdable time, the processor further receives an imaging region of the subject, and,

in adjusting the parameter value, the processor adjusts the parameter value according to a combination of the breath holdable time and the imaging region.

3. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 2, wherein,

in receiving the breath holdable time, the processor further receives a size of a field of view of the subject in a body axis direction thereof, and,

in adjusting the parameter value, the processor adjusts the parameter value according to a combination of the breath holdable time, the imaging region, and the size of the field of view in the body axis direction.

The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a storage that stores therein setting information including a plurality of different breath holdable times each being associated with parameter values of imaging parameters that are set according to each of the breath holdable times, wherein,

in adjusting the parameter value, the processor refers to the setting information stored in the storage, obtains a parameter value corresponding to the received breath holdable time, and adjusts the parameter value of the imaging parameter included in the imaging condition using the obtained parameter value.

The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, in adjusting the parameter values, the processor calculates a parameter value of imaging parameter from the received breath holdable time based on a correlative relation between the breath holdable time and the parameter value of the imaging parameter, and adjusts the parameter value of the imaging parameter included in the imaging conditions using the calculated parameter values.

6. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the processor to:

display a time chart indicating an execution timing of imaging accompanied by breath hold of a subject on a display; and

change display of the time chart according to adjustment of the parameter value.

7. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the storage stores therein the setting information as an external file that can receive editing of the setting information.

8. A console device of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, the console device comprising:

a storage stores therein a plurality of imaging protocols each including imaging conditions for imaging of a subject;

a display that displays an imaging-condition editing screen for editing imaging conditions included in a imaging protocol selected by an operator, and displays a part of the imaging conditions included in the selected imaging protocol with respect to each of a plurality of breath holdable times; and

an input device that receives an operation to select a part of the imaging conditions corresponding to one of the breath holdable times.

9. The console device according to claim 8, wherein

the display displays the part of the imaging conditions with respect to each of a plurality of combinations of the breath holdable time and an imaging region, and

the input device receives an operation to select a part of the imaging conditions corresponding to one of the combinations.

10. The console device according to claim 8, wherein

the display displays the part of the imaging conditions with respect to each of a plurality of combinations of the breath holdable time and a size of a field of view of a subject in a body axis direction thereof, and

the input device receives an operation to select a part of the imaging conditions corresponding to one of the combinations.

11. The console device according to claim 8, wherein

the display displays the part of the imaging conditions with respect to each of a plurality of combinations of the breath holdable time, an imaging region, and a size of a field of view of a subject in a body axis direction thereof, and

the input device receives an operation to select a part of the imaging conditions corresponding to one of the combinations.

12. The console device according to claim 8, wherein

the display displays the part of the imaging conditions with respect to each of a plurality of types of imaging accompanied by breath hold of a subject, and

the input device receives an operation to select a part of the imaging conditions corresponding to one of the types of imaging.
