Abstract

This document discloses molecules having the following formula (“Formula One”)

The molecules disclosed in this document are related to the field of processes to produce molecules that are useful as pesticides (e.g., acaricides, insecticides, molluscicides, and nematicides), such molecules, and processes of using such molecules to control pests.

Claims

1. A composition comprising a molecule having the following formula

2. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Ar¹ is a substituted phenyl.

3. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Ar¹ is a substituted phenyl that has one or more substituents selected from C₁-C₆ haloalkyl and C₁-C₆ haloalkoxy.

4. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Ar¹ is a substituted phenyl that has one or more substituents selected from CF₃, OCF₃, and OC₂F₅.

A composition according to claim 1 wherein Het is selected from benzofuranyl, benzoisothiazolyl, benzoisoxazolyl, benzoxazolyl, benzothienyl, benzothiazolyl cinnolinyl, furanyl, indazolyl, indolyl, imidazolyl, isoindolyl, isoquinolinyl, isothiazolyl, isoxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, oxazolinyl, oxazolyl, phthalazinyl, pyrazinyl, pyrazolinyl, pyrazolyl, pyridazinyl, pyridyl, pyrimidinyl, pyrrolyl, quinazolinyl, quinolinyl, quinoxalinyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolinyl, thiazolyl, thienyl, triazinyl, triazolyl, piperazinyl, piperidinyl, morpholinyl, pyrrolidinyl, tetrahydrofuranyl, tetrahydropyranyl, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinolinyl, 4,5-dihydro-oxazolyl, 4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazolyl, 4,5-dihydro-isoxazolyl, and 2,3-dihydro-[1,3,4]-oxadiazolyl.

6. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Het is triazolyl.

7. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Het is 1,2,4 triazolyl.

8. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Ar² is phenyl.

9. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R¹ is H.

10. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R² is (K), H, C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₁-C₆ alkyl-O—

C(═

O)C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₁-C₆ alkyl-O—

C(═

O)N(R^xR^y), or (C₁-C₆ alkyl)S-(Het-1).

11. A composition according to claim 1 wherein is (K), H, CH₃, C₁-C₆ alkyl, CH₂OC(═

O)CH(CH₃)₂, CH₂OC(═

O)N(H)(C(═

O)OCH₂Ph), or CH₂S(3,4,5-trimethoxy-2-tetrahydro-pyran).

12. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R³ is substituted phenyl.

13. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R³ is substituted phenyl wherein said substituted phenyl has one or more substituents selected from F, C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₁-C₆ alkoxy, and phenyl.

14. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R³ is substituted phenyl wherein said substituted phenyl has one or more substituents selected from F, CH₃, 2-CH(CH₃)₂, CH(CH₃)(C₂H₅), OCH₃, and phenyl.

15. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R³ is substituted phenyl wherein said substituted phenyl has more than one substituent and at least one pair of said substituents are not ortho to each other.

16. A composition according to claim 1 wherein R⁴ is H.

17. A composition according to claim 1 wherein M is N.

18. A composition according to claim 1 wherein M is CR⁵ wherein R⁵ is selected from H, CN, and C(═

O)(C₁-C₆ alkyl).

19. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Q¹ is O.

20. A composition according to claim 1 wherein Q² is S.
