1. A computer-implemented system for conducting competitive gameplay between at least two system users in which wins and losses are transacted using crypto-currency, comprising:

  • at least a first system user input device controlled by first system user and a second system user input device controlled by a second system user, with the first and second system user input devices each being capable of providing the first and second system users, respectively, access for input to the computer-implemented system for set up and conducting competitive gameplay in which wins and losses are transacted using a crypto-currency, and with the first and second system user input devices being capable of displaying gameplay and displaying the results of gameplay including the resulting crypto-currency account balances for each of the first and second system user input devices;

    a wireless network that is electronically connected to the at least first and second system user input devices and at least one application programming interface (“

    API”

    ) server, with the wireless network being capable of receiving and transmitting electronic transmissions from and to, respectively, the at least first and second system user input devices and receiving and transmitting electronic transmissions from and to, respectively, at least one application programming interface (“

    API”

    ) server;

    the API server that is electronically connected to the wireless network and at least one game server, with the API server receiving requests from the at least first and second system user devices for the at least first and second user input devices to engage in competitive gameplay, managing crypto-currency accounts for the at least first and second system user input devices, receiving crypto-currency amounts from the at least first and second system user input devices and depositing the crypto-currency received in the crypto-currency account associated with the at least first and second system user input devices, holding a predetermined portion of the crypto-currency in the respective crypto-currency account of the at least first and second system user input devices to meet at least a minimum crypto-currency value for each of the at least first and second system user devices to participate in gameplay, calculating crypto-currency account balances for each of the at least first and second system user input devices according to at least wins and losses in gameplay received electronically from the game server, withdrawing crypto-currency from the at least first or second system user input device crypto-currency account according to an electronic request transmitted from such system user input device, controlling the at least first and second system user input devices logging onto and logging off of the game server for gameplay, reporting to the first system user input device for display thereon the crypto-currency account balance for the first system user input device during and at the end of gameplay according to wins and losses during gameplay, and reporting to the second system user input device for display thereon the crypto-currency account balance for the second system user input device during and at the end of the gameplay according to wins and losses during gameplay; and

    the game server that is electronically connected to the API server, with the game server receiving electronic instructions from the API server naming system user input devices authorized to participate in gameplay on the game server, conducting competitive gameplay according to predetermined rules of a game stored on the game server, storing and periodically transmitting electronically to the API server wins and losses by each system user input devices, logging in and logging out the system user input devices according to instructions electronically received from the API server.
