Abstract

A touch window according to an embodiment includes a cover substrate on which a first area and a second area are defined; a coil on the second area of the cover substrate; a first substrate on the cover substrate; and a sensing electrode on the first substrate.

Claims

1. A touch window comprising:

a cover substrate on which a first area and a second area are defined;

a coil on the second area of the cover substrate;

a first substrate on the cover substrate; and

a sensing electrode on the first substrate.

2. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the second area surrounds the first area.

3. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the second area is disposed at both ends of the first area.

4. The touch window of claim 1, wherein one surface of a printing layer directly makes contact with the second area formed on an opposite surface of the cover substrate and the coil directly makes contact with an opposite surface of the printing layer.

5. The touch window of claim 2, wherein the sensing electrode is disposed on a region of the first substrate which overlaps with the first region.

6. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the sensing electrode senses an electromagnetic field generated by a touch object.

7. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the coil includes a first coil and a second coil spaced apart from the first coil.

8. The touch window of claim 7, wherein the first coil and the second coil surround an edge of the second area.

9. The touch window of claim 7, wherein the first coil and the second coil are arranged along an edge of the second area.

10. The touch window of claim 1, further comprising a wire to electrically connect the coil.

11. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the coil has a function of a ground electrode.

12. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the coil includes an opaque conductive metal.

13. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the first substrate has a size corresponding to the first area of the cover substrate and overlaps with the first area.

14. The touch window of claim 13, wherein the sensing electrode includes a first sensing electrode extending in a first direction and a second sensing electrode extending in a second direction.

15. The touch window of claim 14, further comprising a second substrate under the first substrate, wherein the first sensing electrode is disposed on the first substrate and the second sensing electrode is disposed on one surface of the second substrate.

16. The touch window of claim 14, wherein the first sensing electrode is disposed on the first area of the cover substrate and the second sensing electrode is disposed on the first substrate.

17. The touch window of claim 1, wherein the sensing electrode includes a first sensing electrode extending in a first direction and a second sensing electrode extending in a second direction, and the first and second sensing electrodes are disposed on the first area of the cover substrate.

18. The touch window of claim 1, further comprising at least one panel substrate under the cover substrate, wherein the sensing electrode is disposed on at least one surface of the panel substrate.

19. The touch window of claim 1, wherein coil has a closed loop shape and is disposed on an upper end and a lower end of the cover substrate.

20. A touch device including a touch window of claim 1.
