1. A computer implemented method for providing search results, comprising:
- providing a database of object entries each associated with a corresponding physical object, each database entry including 3D data of one or more three dimensional features of a particular physical object of the database;
receiving a search request from a search request user, the search request including image data of a physical object or 3D data generated from a model of the image data of the physical object;
optionally generating 3D data from the image data if received;
comparing the 3D data received from the user or generated from the image data to the database entries to generate a search result; and
displaying the search result to the search request user.

Abstract
The systems and computer implemented methods receive image data with reference objects and target objects in the imagery. The reference object is identified from the image data and database information associated with the reference object is obtained (e.g., the actual size of the reference object). The database information associated with the reference object can then be used to identify and/or size the target object.
