Abstract

An information collection system includes a server apparatus, a plurality of edge apparatuses, and a collection rules storage unit. The edge apparatus includes a first information generation unit that generates first information and a second information generation unit that generates second information. The collection rules storage unit stores collection rules so as to be associated with the edge apparatus and the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus. The server apparatus includes a first information acquisition unit that acquires the first information from the edge apparatus, a second information acquisition unit that acquires the second information from the edge apparatus, and a collection rules acquisition unit that acquires collection rules from the collection rules storage unit.

Claims

1. An information collection system, comprising:

a server apparatus;

a plurality of edge apparatuses; and

a collection rules storage unit that stores collection rules so as to be associated with each of the edge apparatuses and first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus, the collection rules being information indicating any one or more of;

content of information included in second information;

a frequency of acquiring the second information; and

the edge apparatus to which the collection rules are applied,

wherein the edge apparatus includes;

a first information generation unit that generates the first information, and

a second information generation unit that generates the second information,

wherein the server apparatus includes;

a first information acquisition unit that acquires the first information from the edge apparatus;

a second information acquisition unit that acquires the second information from the edge apparatus; and

a collection rules acquisition unit that acquires from the collection rules storage unit the collection rules corresponding to the first information acquired by the first information acquisition unit and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information.

2. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the collection rules storage unit shows the collection rules so as to be associated with a collection load that is a load on the information collection system caused by acquisition of the second information performed based on the collection rules,

wherein the server apparatus comprises an upper limit storage unit that stores a load upper limit that is an upper limit of a load that the information collection system tolerates, and

wherein the collection rules acquisition unit acquires the collection rules so that a total value of the collection load shown in the collection rules applied to each edge apparatus is equal to or less than the load upper limit.

3. The information collection system according to claim 1, further comprising:

a generation rules storage unit that stores generation rules, for each of the plurality of edge apparatuses, so as to be associated with the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus, the generation rules being rules regarding generation of the first information,

wherein the server apparatus includes;

a generation rules acquisition unit that acquires from the generation rules storage unit the generation rules corresponding to the first information acquired by the first information acquisition unit and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information; and

a generation rules transmission unit that transmits the generation rules corresponding to an edge apparatus to the edge apparatus,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a generation rules receiving unit that receives the generation rules, and

wherein the first information generation unit generates the first information using the generation rules when the generation rules are received.

4. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the server apparatus includes a collection rules transmission unit that transmits to each edge apparatus the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus,

wherein the edge apparatus includes:

a collection rules receiving unit that receives from the server apparatus the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus; and

a second information transmission unit that transmits the second information to the server apparatus based on the collection rules, and

wherein the second information acquisition unit acquires the second information transmitted by the second information transmission unit.

5. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a second information storage unit that stores the second information generated by the second information generation unit, and

wherein the second information acquisition unit reads the second information from the second information storage unit based on the collection rules acquired by the collection rules acquisition unit.

6. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a first information transmission unit that transmits the first information to the server apparatus, and

wherein the first information acquisition unit receives the first information transmitted by the first information transmission unit.

7. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a first information storage unit that stores the first information generated by the first information generation unit, and

wherein the first information acquisition unit reads the first information from the first information storage unit.

8. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is an index indicating whether or not an anomaly has occurred in the edge apparatus, and

wherein the second information of the edge apparatus is information regarding content of an anomaly occurring in the edge apparatus.

9. The information collection system according to claim 1,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is location information of the edge apparatus.

10. A server apparatus provided in the information collection system according to claim 1.

11. An edge apparatus provided in the information collection system according to claim 1.

12. A control method executed by an information collection system including a server apparatus, a plurality of edge apparatuses, and a collection rules storage unit, the method comprising:

generating first information, performed by each of the edge apparatuses;

generating second information, performed by each of the edge apparatuses;

acquiring the first information from the edge apparatus, performed by the server apparatus;

acquiring collection rules from the collection rules storage unit by the server apparatus, the collection rules corresponding to the first information acquired by the first information acquisition unit and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information; and

acquiring the second information from the edge apparatus, performed by the server apparatus,

wherein the collection rules stored in the collection rules storage unit are information that associates the edge apparatus and the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus, and that indicates any one or more of;

content of information included in the second information;

a frequency of acquiring the second information; and

the edge apparatus to which the collection rules are applied.

13. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the collection rules storage unit shows the collection rules so as to be associated with a collection load that is a load on the information collection system caused by acquisition of the second information performed based on the collection rules, and

wherein the server apparatus comprises an upper limit storage unit that stores a load upper limit that is an upper limit of a load that the information collection system tolerates,

wherein, in the step of acquiring the collection rules, the server apparatus acquires the collection rules so that a total value of the collection load shown in the collection rules applied to each edge apparatus is equal to or less than the load upper limit.

14. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the information collection system includes a generation rules storage unit that stores generation rules, for each of the plurality of edge apparatuses, so as to be associated with the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus, the generation rules being rules regarding generation of the first information,

wherein the control method further comprising:

acquiring from the generation rules storage unit the generation rules corresponding to the first information acquired in the step of acquiring the first information and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information, performed by the server apparatus;

transmitting the generation rules corresponding to the edge apparatus to the edge apparatus, performed by the server apparatus; and

receiving the generation rules, performed by the edge apparatus, and

wherein when the generation rules are received in the step of receiving the generation rules, the edge apparatus generates the first information using the generation rules in the step of acquiring the first information.

15. The control method according to claim 12, further comprising:

transmitting to each edge apparatus the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus, performed by the server apparatus;

receiving the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus from the server apparatus, performed by the edge apparatus; and

transmitting the second information to the server apparatus based on the collection rules, performed by the edge apparatus,

wherein, in the step of acquiring the second information, the second information transmitted in the step of transmitting the second information is received.

16. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a second information storage unit that stores the second information generated in the step of generating the second information, and

wherein, in the step of acquiring the second information, the server apparatus reads the second information from the second information storage unit based on the collection rules acquired in the step of acquiring the collection rules.

17. The control method according to claim 12, further comprising:

transmitting the first information to the server apparatus, performed by the edge apparatus,

wherein, in the step of acquiring the first information, the server apparatus receives the first information transmitted in the step of transmitting the first information.

18. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a first information storage unit that stores the first information generated in the step of generating the first information, and

wherein, in the step of acquiring the first information, the server apparatus reads the first information from the first information storage unit.

19. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is an index indicating whether or not an anomaly has occurred in the edge apparatus, and

wherein the second information of the edge apparatus is information regarding content of an anomaly occurring in the edge apparatus.

20. The control method according to claim 12,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is location information of the edge apparatus.

21. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for controlling an information collection system,

wherein the information collection system includes a server apparatus, a plurality of edge apparatuses, and a collection rules storage unit,

the program causes each of the edge apparatuses to have:

a first information generation function of generating first information; and

a second information generation function of generating second information,

the program causes the server apparatus to have;

a first information acquisition function of acquiring the first information from the edge apparatus; and

a collection rules acquisition function of acquiring collection rules from the collection rules storage unit, the collection rules corresponding to the first information acquired by the first information acquisition function and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information,

wherein the collection rules stored in the collection rules storage unit are information that is associated with the edge apparatus and the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus and that indicates any one or more of;

content of information included in the second information;

a frequency of acquiring the second information; and

the edge apparatus to which the collection rules are applied.

22. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the collection rules storage unit shows the collection rules so as to be associated with a collection load that is a load on the information collection system caused by acquisition of the second information performed based on the collection rules,

wherein the server apparatus includes an upper limit storage unit that stores a load upper limit that is an upper limit of a load that the information collection system tolerates, and

wherein the collection rules acquisition function is acquiring the collection rules so that a total value of the collection load shown in the collection rules applied to each edge apparatus is equal to or less than the load upper limit.

23. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the information collection system includes a generation rules storage unit that stores generation rules, for each of the plurality of edge apparatuses, so as to be associated with the first information that the server apparatus acquires from the edge apparatus, the generation rules being rules regarding generation of the first information,

wherein the program causes the server apparatus to have:

a generation rules acquisition function of acquiring from the generation rules storage unit the generation rules corresponding to the first information acquired by the first information acquisition function and the edge apparatus that has generated the first information; and

a generation rules transmission function of transmitting to the edge apparatus the generation rules corresponding to the edge apparatus,

wherein the program causes the edge apparatus to have a generation rules receiving function of receiving the generation rules, and

wherein when the generation rules are received by the generation rules receiving function, the first information is generated using the generation rules by the first information acquisition function.

24. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the program causes the server apparatus to have a collection rules transmission function of transmitting to each edge apparatus the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus,

wherein the program causes the edge apparatus to have:

a collection rules receiving function of receiving the collection rules applied to the edge apparatus from the server apparatus; and

a second information transmission function of transmitting the second information to the server apparatus based on the collection rules, and

wherein the second information transmitted by the second information transmission function is received by a second information acquisition function.

25. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a second information storage unit that stores the second information generated by the second information generation function, and

wherein the second information acquisition function is reading the second information from the second information storage unit based on the collection rules acquired by the collection rules acquisition function.

26. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the program causes the edge apparatus to have a first information transmission function of transmitting the first information to the server apparatus, and

wherein the first information acquisition function receives the first information transmitted by the first information transmission function.

27. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the edge apparatus includes a first information storage unit that stores the first information generated by the first information generation function, and

wherein the first information acquisition function reads the first information from the first information storage unit.

28. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is an index indicating whether or not an anomaly has occurred in the edge apparatus, and

wherein the second information of the edge apparatus is information regarding content of an anomaly occurring in the edge apparatus.

29. The storage medium according to claim 21,

wherein the first information of the edge apparatus is location information of the edge apparatus.
