an alarm panel connected to the sensors in the local premises; and
a remote alarm system associated with the remote object in communication with the alarm panel, wherein the remote alarm system is assigned a zone in the alarm panel to represent the remote object, such that an alarm condition at the remote object is reported as an alarm condition in the assigned zone.

11. A method for monitoring at an alarm panel both a local premises and a remote object having a remote alarm system, the method comprising:
