Abstract

According to one embodiment, a communication apparatus communicates with a first device including a first data file via a network. The communication apparatus includes an indication unit and a request sending unit. The indication unit indicates a first data sending request to send first data from a first position as a start position of the first data file toward a second position as an end position of the first data file. Furthermore, the indication unit indicates a second data sending request to send second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file. The request sending unit sends the first data sending request and the second data sending request to the first device.

Claims

1. An apparatus for communicating with a first device including a first data file via a network, the apparatus comprising:

an indication unit that indicates a first data sending request to send first data from a first position as a start position of the first data file toward a second position as an end position of the first data file, and a second data sending request to send second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file; and

a request sending unit that sends the first data sending request and the second data sending request to the first device.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:

a receiving unit that receives the first data as a reply of the first data sending request, and the second data as a reply of the second data sending request; and

a control unit that makes the receiving unit stop receiving the first data and the second data, when the receiving unit receives the first data from the first position to a third position and the second data from the second position to the third position.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:

a receiving unit that receives the first data as a reply of the first data sending request, and the second data as a reply of the second data sending request;

wherein

the indication unit indicates a third data sending request to send third data from a third position between the first position and the second position toward the second position in the first data file, and

the request sending unit sends the third data sending request at a first timing during after the receiving unit starts to receive the first data and the second data, and before the receiving unit completes receiving of the first data or the second data.

4. The apparatus according to claim 3, wherein

the indication unit indicates a fourth data sending request to send fourth data from the third position toward the first position in the first data file, and

the request sending unit sends the fourth data sending request at a second timing during after the receiving unit starts to receive the first data and the second data, and before the receiving unit completes receiving of the first data or the second data.

5. The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein

the receiving unit receives the third data and the fourth data,

further comprising:

a control unit that makes the receiving unit stop receiving the first data and the fourth data when the receiving unit receives the first data from the first position to the fourth position and the fourth data from the third position to the fourth position, and makes the receiving unit stop receiving the second data and the third data when the receiving unit receives the second data from the second position to a fifth position and the third data from the third position to the fifth position.

6. The apparatus according to claim 3, further comprising:

a control unit that makes the receiving unit stop receiving the third data, when a speed to receive the first data or the second data by the receiving unit after the receiving unit starts to receive the third data is slower than a speed to receive the first data or the second data by the receiving unit before the receiving unit starts to receive the third data.

7. The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein

the indication unit indicates the third position, based on respective speeds to receive the first data and the second data by the receiving unit.

8. The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein

the indication unit indicates the third position as a middle position between the first position and the second position.

9. An apparatus for communicating with a first device via a network, the first device including a first data file and a second data file reversed from the first data file,

the apparatus comprising:

an indication unit that indicates a first data sending request to send first data from a first start position toward a first end position in the first data file, and a second data sending request to send second data from a second start position toward a second position in the second data file; and

a request sending unit that sends the first data sending request and the second data sending request to the first device.

10. The apparatus according to claim 9, wherein

the second end position of the second data file corresponds to the first start position of the first data file, and

the second start position of the second data file corresponds to the first end position of the first data file.

11. The apparatus according to claim 10, further comprising:

a receiving unit that receives the first data as a reply of the first data sending request, and the second data as a reply of the second data sending request; and

a control unit that makes the receiving unit stop receiving the first data and the second data, when the receiving unit receives the first data from the first start position to a first position and the second data from the second start position to a second position corresponding to the first position of the first data file.

12. The apparatus according to claim 10, wherein

the indication unit indicates a third data sending request to send third data from a third position between the first start position and the first end position toward the first end position in the first data file, and

the request sending unit sends the third data sending request at a first timing during after the receiving unit starts to receive the first data and the second data, and before the receiving unit completes receiving of the first data or the second data.

13. The apparatus according to claim 10, wherein

the indication unit indicates a fourth data sending request to send fourth data from a fourth position between the second start position and the second end position toward the second end position in the second data file, and

the request sending unit sends the fourth data sending request at a second timing during after the receiving unit starts to receive the first data and the second data, and before the receiving unit completes receiving of the first data or the second data.

14. The apparatus according to claim 13, wherein

the indication unit indicates the third position and the fourth position, based on respective speeds to receive the first data and the second data by the receiving unit.

15. The apparatus according to claim 12, wherein

the indication unit indicates the third position as a middle position between the first start position and the first end position.

16. An apparatus for communicating with a first device via a network, the apparatus comprising:

a storage unit that stores a first data file; and

a sending unit that sends first data from a first position as a start position of the first data file toward a second position as an end position of the first data file, and sends second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file, to the first device.

17. The apparatus according to claim 16, further comprising:

a receiving unit that receives a first data sending request to send the first data from the first position toward the second position in the first data file, and a second data sending request to send the second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file, from the first device;

wherein the sending data sends the first data and the second data, based on the first data sending request and the second data sending request.

18. The apparatus according to claim 16, wherein

the sending unit sends a first data receiving request to receive the first data from the first position toward the second position in the first data file, and sends a second data receiving request to receive the second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file, to the first device.

19. An apparatus for communicating with a first device via a network, the apparatus comprising:

a storage unit that stores a first data file and a second data file reversed from the first data file; and

a sending unit that sends first data from a first start position toward a first end position in the first data file, and sends second data from a second start position toward a second end position in the second data file, to the first device.

20. The apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising:

a receiving unit that receives a first data sending request to send the first data from the first start position toward the first end position in the first data file, and a second data sending request to send the second data from the second start position toward the second end position in the second data file, from the first device;

wherein the sending data sends the first data and the second data, based on the first data sending request and the second data sending request respectively.

21. The apparatus according to claim 19, wherein

the sending unit sends a first data receiving request to receive the first data from the first start position toward the first end position in the first data file, and sends a second data receiving request to receive the second data from the second start position toward the second end position in the second data file, to the first device.

22. A non-transitory computer readable medium for causing a computer to perform operations for communicating with a first device including a first data file via a network,

the operations comprising:

indicating a first data sending request to send first data from a first position as a start position of the first data file toward a second position as an end position of the first data file;

indicating a second data sending request to send second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file; and

sending the first data sending request and the second data sending request to the first device.

23. A non-transitory computer readable medium for causing a computer to perform operations for communicating with a first device via a network, the first device including a first data file and a second data file reversed from the first data file,

the operations comprising:

indicating a first data sending request to send first data from a first start position toward a first end position in the first data file;

indicating a second data sending request to send second data from a second start position toward a second position in the second data file; and

sending the first data sending request and the second data sending request to the first device.

24. A non-transitory computer readable medium for causing a computer to perform operations for communicating with a first device via a network,

the operations comprising:

storing a first data file and a second data file reversed from the first data file;

receiving a first data sending request to send first data from a first start position toward a first end position in the first data file, from the first device;

receiving a second data sending request to send second data from a second start position toward a second position in the second data file, from the first device; and

sending the first data and the second data, based on the first data sending request and the second data sending request respectively.

25. A non-transitory computer readable medium for causing a computer to perform operations for communicating with a first device via a network,

the operations comprising:

storing a first data file;

sending first data from a first position as a start position of the first data file toward a second position as an end position of the first data file, to the first device; and

sending second data from the second position toward the first position in the first data file, to the first device.

26. A non-transitory computer readable medium for causing a computer to perform operations for communicating with a first device via a network,

the operations comprising:

storing a first data file and a second data file reversed from the first data file;

sending first data from a first start position of the first data file toward a first end position of the first data file, to the first device; and

sending second data from a second start position of the second data file toward a second end position of the second data file, to the first device.
