1. A method for mapping and monitoring of hydraulic fracture, the method comprising:
- capturing, using an array of sensors, a first magnetic image of a well pay zone;
capturing, using the array of sensors, a second magnetic image after a well bore is padded with a fluid;
establishing a background based on the first and the second magnetic images;
capturing, using the array of sensors, a third magnetic image after a doped proppant is injected into a stage; and
processing the third image to subtract the background and to obtain information regarding distribution of the fluid and the proppant in the stage.
