1. An intelligent electronic device comprising:
- at least one sensor coupled to at least one power line of an electrical power distribution system and configured for measuring at least one power parameter of the at least one power line and generating at least one analog signal indicative of the at least one power parameter;
at least one analog to digital converter coupled to the at least one sensor configured for receiving the at least one analog signal and converting the at least one analog signal to at least one digital signal;
at least one processor configured for receiving the at least one digital signal and calculating energy consumption in the at least one power line;
a plurality of discrete resources stored in a memory; and
a web server including a web services interface configured to access at least one of the resources in response to a request from a client device.

Abstract
A dynamic webpage interface for an intelligent electronic device (IED) and method thereof are provided. The present disclosure provides for separating a webpage into multiple discrete resources, and to customize the resources returned by a web server based on the contents of a request. In one embodiment, such a custom request is implemented by a Web Services interface, such as content based API'"'"'s like SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), or address and command based API'"'"'s like REST (Representational State Transfer). In another embodiment, such a custom request may also be implemented by server side processing, such as CGI (Common Gateway Interface), PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), or other server side engines.
