1. An implantable medical device comprising:

  • a sensing channel that includes a plurality of components that process electrical signals sensed on an implantable electrical lead coupled to the implantable medical device;

    a pace pulse detector that detects pacing pulses delivered by a second implantable medical device based on the processing of the electrical signals sensed on the implantable electrical lead;

    a blanking module; and

    a blanking control module configured to, in response to pace pulse detector detecting the pacing pulse, cause the blanking module to blank the electrical signal of the sense channel to remove the pacing pulse from the sensed electrical signal.
