1. A method for performing device-to-device (D2D) communication by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

  • receiving random access signals from one or more peer UEs in a random access period; and

    allocating resources for the peer UEs using scheduling information comprised in the random access signals and transmitting information about the allocated resources to the peer UEs in a resource allocation period,wherein one time unit for the D2D communication comprises the random access period, the resource allocation period, and a period for performing the D2D communication.
