- receive a message specifying one or more queries to be provided via a human machine interface (HMI) in the vehicle;
determine a total estimated cognitive load for an operator of the vehicle based on an estimated current cognitive load and an estimated cognitive load associated with the one or more queries; and
provide the one or more queries via the HMI if the total estimated cognitive load is at or below a predetermined threshold.
