Abstract

A system, method, and apparatus are provided for establishing a wireless network connection between a mobile terminal and an electronic apparatus by using a near field communication network. At least one electronic apparatus is connected to the near field communication network. A mobile terminal is connected to the near field communication network, exchanges information with the at least one electronic apparatus for a wireless communication network connection through the connected near field communication network, and establishes the wireless communication network connection with the at least one electronic apparatus based on the exchanged information.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal, comprising:

a first communication unit configured to communicate with an electronic device through a first wireless network;

a second communication unit configured to communicate with the electronic device through a second wireless network; and

a control unit configured to;

control the first communication unit to receive, from the electronic device, connection information through the first wireless network;

control the first communication unit to request, to the electronic device, access point (AP) information, based on the connection information; and

control the second communication unit to establish a connection for the second wireless network'"'"'between the electronic device and the mobile terminal, based on the AP information.

2. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including a type of the second wireless network to be able to be connected between the electronic device and the mobile terminal.

3. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including information regarding an infrastructure-based network mode.

4. The mobile terminal of claim 3, wherein the control unit is configured to perform the request if the mobile terminal has received the information regarding the infrastructure-based network mode.

5. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the control unit is further configured to control the first communication unit to establish a connection for the first wireless network with the AP.

6. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the first wireless network includes a near field communication network.

7. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the AP information includes at least one of a service set identifier (SSID) of the AP, information regarding a mode for network authentication, and a wired equivalent privacy (WEP) key of the AP.

8. The mobile terminal of claim 7, wherein the mode for network authentication includes an open mode or a sharing mode.

9. A method for operating a mobile terminal, comprising:

receiving, by controlling a first communication unit, connection information from an electronic device through a first wireless network;

requesting, by controlling the first communication unit, access point (AP) information to the electronic device, based on the connection information; and

establishing, by controlling a second communication unit, a connection for a second wireless network between the electronic device and the mobile terminal, based on the AP information.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including a type of the second wireless network to be able to be connected between the electronic device and the mobile terminal.

11. The method of claim 9, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including information regarding an infrastructure-based network mode.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein requesting AP information is performed if the mobile terminal has received the information regarding the infrastructure-based network mode.

13. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

controlling the first communication unit to establish a connection for the first wireless network with the AP.

14. The method of claim 9, wherein the first wireless network includes a near field communication network.

15. The method of claim 9, wherein the AP information includes at least one of a service set identifier (SSID) of the AP, information regarding a mode of network authentication, and a wired equivalent privacy (WEP) key of the AP.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the mode of network authentication includes an open mode or a sharing mode.

17. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing instructions set to perform at least one operation by a processor, the at least one operation comprising:

receiving, by controlling a first communication unit, connection information from an electronic device through a first wireless network;

requesting, by controlling the first communication unit, Access Point (AP) information to the electronic device based on the connection information; and

establishing, by controlling a second communication unit, a connection for a second wireless network between the electronic device and the mobile terminal based on the AP information.

18. The computer-readable recording medium of claim 17, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including a type of the second wireless network to be connected between the electronic device and the mobile terminal.

19. The computer-readable recording medium of claim 17, wherein the connection information includes network mode information including information regarding an infrastructure-based network mode.

20. The computer-readable recording medium of claim 19, wherein requesting AP information is performed if the mobile terminal has received the information regarding the infrastructure-based network mode.
