Abstract

To provide a service providing system capable of providing network information flexibly in response to a request from a server provided by a third party so as to provide services using various information, the service providing system includes an information collection unit (10) that collects node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server (50) located in an external communication network, an information generation unit (20) that generates mobile communication network information based on the node holding information collected from each of node devices (41) to (43), and a communication unit (30) that transmits the mobile communication network information to the service providing server (50).

Claims

1. A service providing system comprising:

an information collection unit that collects node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server located in an external communication network;

an information generation unit that generates mobile communication network information based on the node holding information collected from each node device; and

a communication unit that transmits the mobile communication network information to the service providing server.

2. The service providing system according to claim 1, further comprising:

an authentication unit that receives the service information acquisition request transmitted from the service providing server and performing authentication on the service providing server.

3. The service providing system according to claim 1, wherein

the information collection unit collects base station information about a base station that manages an area where a mobile station is located.

4. The service providing system according to claim 3, wherein

the information collection unit acquires identification information of a mobility control device that performs mobility control of the mobile station from a subscriber information management device that manages subscriber information of the mobile station using identification information of the mobile station, and collects the base station information from the mobility control device.

5. The service providing system according to claim 4, wherein

the information collection unit collects the node holding information held by the base station through the mobility control device.

6. The service providing system according to claim 1, wherein

the information collection unit collects information about a data traffic held by each node device, and

the information generation unit generates information about a degree of congestion in the mobile communication network based on the data traffic of each node device.

7. The service providing system according to claim 6, wherein

the information collection unit collects the information about the data traffic in a data relay device that performs data communication in an area specified by the service providing server.

8. The service providing system according to claim 6, wherein

the communication unit transmits the information about the degree of congestion to the service providing server and further transmits information about whether or not to allow execution of a service provided by the service providing server to the mobile station through the mobile communication network determined based on the information about the degree of congestion to the service providing server.

9. A gateway device comprising:

an information collection unit that collects node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server located in an external communication network in order to transmit the node holding information to an information generation device that generates mobile communication network information based on the node holding information held by each node device in the mobile communication network and transmits the mobile communication network information to the service providing server.

10. The gateway device according to claim 9, further comprising:

an authentication unit that receives the service information acquisition request transmitted from the service providing server and performs authentication on the service providing server.

11. The gateway device according to claim 9, wherein

the information collection unit collects base station information about a base station that manages an area where a mobile station is located.

12. The gateway device according to claim 11, wherein

the information collection unit acquires identification information of a mobility control device that performs mobility control of the mobile station from a subscriber information management device that manages subscriber information of the mobile station using identification information of the mobile station, and collects the base station information from the mobility control device.

13. The gateway device according to claim 12, wherein

the information collection unit collects the node holding information held by the base station through the mobility control device.

14. The gateway device according to claim 9, wherein

the information collection unit collects information about a data traffic held by each node device and transmits the information about the data traffic to the information generation device that generates information about a degree of congestion in the mobile communication network based on the data traffic.

15. The gateway device according to claim 14, wherein

the information collection unit collects the information about the data traffic in a data relay device that performs data communication in an area specified by the service providing server.

16. An information collection method comprising:

collecting node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server located in an external communication network in order to transmit the node holding information to an information generation device that generates mobile communication network information based on the node holding information held by each node device in the mobile communication network and transmits the mobile communication network information to the service providing server.

17. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute:

a step of collecting node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server located in an external communication network in order to transmit the node holding information to an information generation device that generates mobile communication network information based on the node holding information held by each node device in the mobile communication network and transmits the mobile communication network information to the service providing server.

18. A service providing system comprising:

an information collection means for collecting node holding information held by each node device in a mobile communication network when a service information acquisition request needed for providing a service is transmitted from a service providing server located in an external communication network;

an information generation means for generating mobile communication network information based on the node holding information collected from each node device; and

a communication means for transmitting the mobile communication network information to the service providing server.
