Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and systems for presenting digital content in a field of view of a head-worn computer.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

a. Pre-determining a physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content, wherein the primary virtual content is presented in a see-through head-worn display; and

b. Pre-determining a position for each of a plurality of directionally informative content, wherein each of the plurality of directionally informative content is associated with a different physical environment position and indicates to a person wearing the see-through head-worn computer in what direction the primary virtual content will be found.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of pre-determining the physical environment position for the presentation of the primary virtual content involves determining the physical environmental position based on personal information relating to the person.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of pre-determining the physical environment position for the presentation of the primary virtual content involves determining the physical environmental position based on a content sender'"'"'s requested delivery criteria.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of pre-determining the physical environment position for the presentation of the primary virtual content involves determining the physical environmental position based on the person'"'"'s pre-set content delivery preferences.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of directionally informative content includes video content.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of directionally informative content includes an image.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content includes a geo-spatial position.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content includes an environment attribute type.

9. The method of claim 7, wherein the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content includes an environment attribute.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the primary virtual content relates to the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the primary virtual content does not relate to the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the primary virtual content is presented when data indicates that the head-worn see-through display is proximate the physical environment position for the presentation of primary virtual content.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the step of presenting further includes presenting the content when data indicates that the head-worn see-through display has an eye heading aligned with a selected object attribute.

14. The method of claim 12, wherein the step of presenting further includes presenting the content when data indicates that the head-worn see-through display has a sight heading aligned with a selected object attribute.

15. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving an indication that the recipient has selected the primary virtual content with an external user interface to re-position the digital content.

16. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of presenting further includes identifying a potentially obstructive view object and altering the primary virtual content to indicate the potentially obstructive view.

17. The method of claim 12, wherein the step of presenting further includes altering a position of the presentation based on sensor feedback.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein the sensor feedback is indicative of the user moving forward.
