Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and systems for presenting digital content in a field of view of a head-worn computer.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

a. Pre-setting a geo-spatial location where content will be displayed to a user of a see-through head-worn display;

b. Establishing a region proximate the geo-spatial location;

c. Presenting to the user in the see-through head-worn display the content when data indicative that the head-worn see-through display has entered the region; and

d. Causing a presentation confirmation to be communicated to a server based on the fact that the content was presented in the head-worn see-through display.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the user'"'"'s identity was verified through biometric information such that the presentation confirmation represents a confirmation that the content was presented to a verified user.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the user'"'"'s identity was identified through eye imaging.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of presenting to the user further comprises presenting when data indicative that the head-worn see-through display was aligned with a pre-established sight heading.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of presenting to the user further comprises presenting when data indicative that the user'"'"'s eye was aligned with a pre-established eye heading.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the presentation confirmation is communicated from the server to a sender of the content.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the sender is a person characterized as a friend of the user through an known affiliation.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the presentation confirmation includes a persistence statistic indicative of how long the person viewed the content.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein the persistence statistic is based on a recorded sight heading relating to the head-worn see-through display.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein the persistence statistic is based on a recorded eye heading relating to the user'"'"'s eye position.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the geo-spatial location was selected based on personal information known about the user.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the geo-spatial location was selected based on a presentation preference established for the user.

13. The method of claim 1, wherein the geo-spatial location was selected based on a presentation preference of a sender of the content.

The method of claim 1, wherein the geo-spatial location was selected based on a preference setting relating to the content.
