Abstract

A battery powered work machine driven with a battery, includes: a body including a bottom and a pair of sides erecting from the bottom; a control device of the work machine mounted on the bottom close to one of the sides; a fuse for the control device, the fuse being provided to be opposite to the one of the sides; a charging device for the battery, the charging device being mounted on the bottom close to the other one of the sides; and a fuse for the charging device, the fuse being provided to be opposite to the other one of the sides.

Claims

1. A battery powered work machine driven with a battery, comprising:

a body including a bottom and a pair of sides erecting from the bottom;

a control device of the work machine mounted on the bottom close to one of the sides;

a fuse for the control device, the fuse being provided to be opposite to the one of the sides;

a charging device for the battery, the charging device being mounted on the bottom close to the other one of the sides; and

a fuse for the charging device, the fuse being provided to be opposite to the other one of the sides; and

a storage space that is formed in the body, below a bottom of the battery, and above a bottom of the body, and stores the control device, the fuse for the control device, the charging device, and the fuse for the charging device in which the pair of the sides are erected on both sides in a widthwise direction of the body, wherein

the pair of the sides are partition walls between left and right sides of the body and the storage space.

2. The battery powered work machine according to claim 1, wherein

the one of the sides includes a first opening on at least a position opposite to the fuse for the control device, and

the other one of the sides includes a second opening on at least a position opposite to the fuse for the charging device.

3. A battery powered forklift including a fork mounted on a front of a body to which a front wheel and a rear wheel are attached, a counter weight provided on a rear of the body, and a driving electric motor that allows the body to travel, the forklift comprising:

a battery mounted on the body above the rear wheel;

a storage space that is formed in the body, below a bottom of the battery, and above a bottom of the body, and in which a pair of body sides are erected from both sides of the bottom in a widthwise direction of the body;

a control device mounted in the storage space to be close to one of the sides for controlling the driving electric motor;

a fuse for the control device, the fuse being stored in the storage space, and is provided to be opposite to the one of the sides;

a charging device mounted close to the other side of the sides in the storage space for charging the battery;

a fuse for the charging device, the fuse being stored in the storage space, and is provided to be opposite to the other side of the sides;

a cargo-handling electric motor that is stored in the storage space for allowing operating oil, which operates the fork, to generate oil pressure; and

an operating oil tank that is stored in the storage space for holding the operating oil, wherein

the pair of the sides are partition walls between left and right sides of the body and the storage space.

4. The battery powered forklift according to claim 3, wherein

the one of the sides includes a first opening on at least a position opposite to the fuse for the control device, and

the other one of the sides includes a second opening on at least a position opposite to the fuse for the charging device.

5. The battery powered forklift according to claim 3, further comprising a fan that exhausts air in the storage space to an outside.
