Abstract

An automatic aircraft monitoring and proposed rerouting system includes at least one processor and at least one memory. The at least one memory is in electronic communication with the at least one processor. The at least one memory includes programming code configured to be executed by the at least one processor. The programming code is configured to automatically monitor at least one aircraft and to automatically provide a proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft.

Claims

1. An automatic aircraft monitoring and proposed rerouting system comprising:

at least one processor; and

at least one memory in electronic communication with the at least one processor, wherein the at least one memory comprises programming code configured to be executed by the at least one processor, and the programming code is configured to automatically monitor at least one aircraft and automatically provide a proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft.

2. The system of claim 1 wherein the programming code is configured to automatically provide the proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft by automatically gathering and automatically considering airline information, aircraft information, airspace information, or traffic information.

3. The system of claim 2 wherein the airline information comprises at least one aircraft flight to optimize, flight information, an airline preference, a customer request, a customer report, or an optimization trigger.

4. The system of claim 2 wherein the aircraft information comprises a flight state, a flight intent, a reroute request, or a flight-crew preference.

5. The system of claim 2 wherein the airspace information comprises an atmospheric condition, an airspace constraint, an airport adaptation, or an airspace adaptation.

6. The system of claim 2 wherein the traffic information comprises a flight state of at least one other aircraft, and a flight intent of the at least one other aircraft.

7. The system of claim 1 wherein the programming code is configured to automatically provide the proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft by automatically gathering and automatically considering airline information, aircraft information, airspace information, and traffic information.

8. The system of claim 7 wherein the airline information comprises at least one aircraft flight to optimize, flight information, an airline preference, a customer request, a customer report, or an optimization trigger;

the aircraft information comprises a flight state, a flight intent, a reroute request, or a flight-crew preference;

the airspace information comprises atmospheric conditions, airspace constraints, airport adaptations, or airspace adaptations; and

the traffic information comprises a flight state of at least one other aircraft, and a flight intent of the at least one other aircraft.

9. A non-transitory computer readable medium including programming code, the programming code configured to command at least one processor to automatically monitor at least one aircraft and automatically provide a proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft.

10. A method of automatically monitoring at least one aircraft and proposing a reroute for the at least one aircraft comprising:

automatically monitoring at least one aircraft; and

automatically providing a proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft.

11. The method of claim 10 wherein the automatic monitoring comprises automatically monitoring the at least one aircraft on the ground.

12. The method of claim 10 wherein the automatic monitoring comprises automatically monitoring the at least one aircraft in the air.

13. The method of claim 10 wherein the automatic provision of the proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft comprises automatically providing the proposed flight reroute for the at least one aircraft directly to the at least one aircraft or directly to at least one airline of the at least one aircraft.

14. The method of claim 10 further comprising automatically gathering and automatically considering airline information, aircraft information, airspace information, or traffic information.

15. The method of claim 14 wherein the airline information comprises at least one aircraft flight to optimize, flight information, an airline preference, a customer request, a customer report, or an optimization trigger.

16. The method of claim 14 wherein the aircraft information comprises a flight state, a flight intent, a reroute request, or a flight-crew preference.

17. The method of claim 14 wherein the airspace information comprises an atmosphere condition, an airspace constraint, an airport adaptation, or an airspace adaptation.

18. The method of claim 14 wherein the traffic information comprises a flight state of at least one other aircraft, and a flight intent of the at least one other aircraft.

19. The method of claim 10 further comprising automatically gathering and automatically considering airline information, aircraft information, airspace information, and traffic information.

20. The method of claim 19 wherein the airline information comprises at least one aircraft flight to optimize, flight information, an airline preference, a customer request, a customer report, or an optimization trigger;

the aircraft information comprises a flight state, a flight intent, a reroute request, or a flight-crew preference;

the airspace information comprises an atmosphere condition, an airspace constraint, an airport adaptation, or an airspace adaptation; and

the traffic information comprises a flight state of at least one other aircraft, and a flight intent of the at least one other aircraft.
