HANDS-FREE TRANSACTIONS WITH A CHALLENGE AND RESPONSE
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method for hands-free transactions, comprising:
- transmitting, by a merchant system computing device, a beacon via a wireless communication, the beacon comprising a beacon identifier;
receiving, by the merchant system computing device, a plurality of transaction tokens generated by a plurality of user computing devices associated with a plurality of user accounts, each user computing device having received the beacon from the merchant system computing device;
identifying, by the merchant system computing device, a product for purchase from a particular user;
providing, by the merchant system computing device, a display of a challenge to issue to the particular user;
receiving, by the merchant system computing device, an input of a challenge response based on a response provided by the particular user;
providing, by the merchant system computing device to a merchant system operator associated with the merchant system, a display of one or more of the plurality of user accounts that are associated with the received challenge response;
receiving, by the merchant system computing device, an input from the merchant system operator, the input providing a selection of a particular user account displayed by the merchant system computing device and associated with the particular user; and
communicating, by the merchant system computing device and to a payment processing system, a transaction request, the transaction request comprising transaction details and a particular transaction token associated with the particular user account.

Abstract
Conducting hands-free transactions comprises a server at a payment processing system, a user computing device, and a merchant computing device. The payment processing system receives a communication from a hands-free payment application on a user device, the communication comprising a first transaction token, an identification of a user account, and a beacon identifier. The merchant may provide a challenge to the user and use the response to identify the token and account of the user. The merchant computing device can use voice patterns of the user to assist in identifying the token and account of the user. The system receives from the merchant computing device a transaction request, the transaction request comprising the first transaction token and transaction data associated with the transaction request. The system determines that the transaction is for an amount less than a configured transaction limit and communicates a request for an authorization of the transaction.

15. A system for hands-free transactions, comprising:
-
a storage device; and a processor communicatively coupled to the storage device, wherein the processor executes application code instructions that are stored in the storage device to cause the system to; receive a plurality of transaction tokens generated by a plurality of user computing devices associated with a plurality of user accounts, each user computing device having received a beacon from the system and generated its corresponding token in response thereto; receive an input of a challenge response, the challenge response being provided by a particular user; determine one or more of the plurality of user accounts that are associated with the challenge response; present a display of the one or more of the plurality of user accounts that are associated with the received challenge response; receive an input providing a selection of a particular user account associated with the particular user; and communicate to a payment processing system a transaction request, the transaction request comprising transaction details and a particular transaction token associated with the particular user account. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
