12. A fertigation system comprising the following features with (reference to
FIG. 3 ):-
i) a feed stream (10), ii) a pump (16), iii) a flow cell (1), preferably a cross flow cell, with an aquaporin membrane, preferably a TFC-aquaporin membrane (2), iv) a concentrated plant nutrient draw solution (13), v) a diluted draw solution (12) in fluid communication with the draw side of the membrane (8), vi) an optional fresh water source (14) for additional dilution of diluted draw, and vii) a resulting diluted plant nutrient solution ready for use (15); and wherein said diluted draw solution may be recirculated through the flow cell to achieve higher degree of dilution.
