Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a sensor network, Machine Type Communication (MTC), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, and technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the above technologies, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A user equipment in a communication system, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, includes: a controller that determines at least one communication service to deactivate among communication services that are able to be provided and a transmitter that transmits, to a server, a message for identifying the at least one communication service to deactivate.

Claims

1. A user equipment in a communication system comprising:

a controller configured to determine at least one communication service to deactivate among communication services; and

a transmitter configured to transmit, to a server, a message for identifying the at least one communication service to deactivate.

2. The user equipment of claim 1, wherein the communication services comprise at least one of a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

3. The user equipment of claim 1, wherein the message comprises at least one of communication service interruption information and communication service permission information.

4. The user equipment of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to request the deactivation of at least one communication service among the communication services of the user equipment according to a user setting or by receiving information from a base station in at least one of a case where an access priority of the user equipment is low, a case where a power capacity of the user equipment is lower than a set residual capacity, and a case where the user equipment corresponds to a set place or time.

5. The user equipment of claim 1, further comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a message instructing that a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) period be increased.

6. The user equipment of claim 1, further comprising:

a display unit configured to display an icon for informing of a selective communication service on at least one of a status bar and a locked screen.

7. The user equipment of claim 6, wherein the display unit is further configured to display a permitted messenger application list in such a manner that the permitted messenger application list is distinguished from an interrupted communication service.

8. The user equipment of claim 1, wherein the message further comprises information for requesting a voice call to be interrupted and only an application messenger and an SMS/MMS message to be permitted.

9. A method of user equipment in a communication system comprising:

determining at least one communication service to deactivate among communication services; and

transmitting, to a server, a message for identifying the at least one communication service to deactivate.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the communication services comprise at least one of a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

11. The method of claim 9, wherein the transmitting of the message to the server comprises:

transmitting the message comprising at least one of communication service interruption information and communication service permission information.

12. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

requesting the deactivation of at least one communication service among the communication services of the user equipment according to a user setting or by receiving information from a base station in at least one of a case where an access priority of the user equipment is low, a case where a power capacity of the user equipment is lower than a set residual capacity, and a case where the user equipment corresponds to a set place or time.

13. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

receiving a message instructing that a Discontinuous Reception(DRX) period be increased.

14. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

displaying an icon for informing of a selective communication service on at least one of a status bar and a locked screen.

15. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

displaying a permitted messenger application list in such a manner that the permitted messenger application list is distinguished from an interrupted communication service.

16. The method of claim 9, wherein the message further comprises information for requesting a voice call to be interrupted and only an application messenger and an SMS/MMS message to be permitted.

17. A server in a communication system comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a message for identifying at least one communication service to deactivate; and

a controller configured to deactivate at least one communication service among communication services that are able to be provided according to the message.

18. The server of claim 17, wherein the communication service comprises a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

19. The server of claim 17, wherein the message comprises at least one of communication service interruption information and communication service permission information.

20. The server of claim 17, wherein, when there is a connection request of a communication service to deactivate, which is included in the message, the controller deactivates the connection request of the communication service.

21. The server of claim 17, further comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit deactivation information to a counterpart attempting to make a connection request of a communication service when deactivating the connection request of the communication service.

22. The server of claim 17, wherein the transmitter transmits a message instructing that a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) period be increased.

23. A method of a server in a communication system comprising:

receiving a message identifying at least one communication service to deactivate; and

deactivating at least one communication service among communication services that are able to be provided according to the message.

24. The method of claim 23, wherein the communication service comprises a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

25. The method of claim 23, wherein the message comprises at least one of communication service interruption information and communication service permission information.

26. The method of claim 23, further comprising:

when there is a connection request of a communication service to deactivate, which is included in the message, deactivating the connection request of the communication service.

27. The method of claim 23, further comprising:

transmitting deactivation information to a counterpart attempting to make a connection request of a communication service when deactivating the connection request of the communication service.

28. The method of claim 23, further comprising:

transmitting a message instructing that a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) period be increased.

29. A user equipment in a communication system comprising:

a transmitter configured to request a connection with a counterpart user equipment through a first communication service among communication services supported by the counterpart user equipment; and

a controller configured to make a control to connect to the counterpart user equipment through a second communication service when the connection through the first communication service fails.

30. The user equipment of claim 29, wherein the communication services comprise at least one of a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

31. The user equipment of claim 29, further comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a message for informing that the first communication service is restricted.

32. The user equipment of claim 29, further comprising:

a display unit configured to display a list of one or more communication services permitted by the counterpart user equipment when the connection through the first communication service fails.

33. A method of user equipment in a communication system comprising:

requesting a connection with a counterpart user equipment through a first communication service among communication services supported by the counterpart user equipment; and

making a control to connect to the counterpart user equipment through a second communication service when the connection through the first communication service fails.

34. The method of claim 33, wherein the communication services comprise at least one of a voice call, an application messenger, a Short Message Service (SMS), and a Multimedia Message Service (MMS).

35. The method of claim 33, further comprising:

receiving a message for informing that the first communication service is restricted.

36. The method of claim 33, further comprising:

displaying a list of one or more communication services permitted by the counterpart user equipment when the connection through the first communication service fails.

37. A server for relaying a communication product in a wireless communication system, comprising:

a receiver configured to receive communication service request information from a user equipment that uses an embedded subscriber identity module; and

a transmitter configured to transmit a communication product list to the user equipment and transmits product purchase information to a mobile communication service provider in response to the communication service request information received from the user equipment.

The server of claim 37, wherein the communication service request information comprises at least one of embedded subscriber identity module information of the user equipment, identification information for distinguishing the user equipment, purchase information of a product, payment information, and location information.

39. The server of claim 37, further comprising:

a controller configured to create authentication information of the server.

40. The server of claim 37, wherein the transmitter is further configured to transmit profile request information to a server for providing a profile or a server for managing a profile.

41. The server of claim 40, wherein, when the server transmits the profile request information to the server for managing the profile, the profile is stored in the server for managing the profile before information for the control of the profile is transmitted.

42. A user equipment in a wireless communication system comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit communication service request information to a server for relaying the trade of an embedded subscriber identity module profile; and

a receiver configured to receive a communication product list from the server,

wherein the receiver receives a profile based on the requested communication service information.

43. The user equipment of claim 42, wherein the communication service request information comprises at least one of embedded subscriber identity module information of the user equipment, identification information for distinguishing the user equipment, purchase information of a product, payment information, and location information.

44. The user equipment of claim 42, wherein the receiver is further configured to receive an encryption key from a server for managing a profile.

45. The user equipment of claim 42, wherein the controller is further configured to perform cross-authentication using an encryption key.

46. The user equipment of claim 42, wherein the controller is further configured to decode a received profile and installs the profile.

47. A server for providing a profile in a wireless communication system, comprising:

a controller configured to create a first encryption key through first encryption, encrypt a profile using the created first encryption key, and perform second encryption of the first encryption key using a certificate public key to create a second encryption key; and

a transmitter configured to transmit the encrypted profile and the second encryption key to a server for managing a profile,

wherein the profile is created before embedded subscriber identity module information is received.

48. The server of claim 47, wherein the controller is further configured to perform cross-authentication using the first encryption key.

49. The server of claim 48, wherein the transmitter is further configured to transmit the mutually authenticated first encryption key to the server for managing a profile.

50. The server of claim 47, wherein the controller is further configured to perform cross-authentication with user equipment on the basis of the first encryption key.

51. The server of claim 47, wherein the controller is further configured to encrypt the first encryption key with a private key for encryption.

52. A server for managing a profile in a wireless communication system, comprising:

a receiver configured to receive an encrypted profile from a server for providing a profile; and

a transmitter configured to transmit the encrypted profile and an encryption key encrypted with a certificate public key to user equipment,

wherein the encrypted profile is created by the server for providing a profile before embedded subscriber identity module information is received.

53. The server of claim 52, wherein the transmitter is further configured to request encryption through a public key from the server for providing a profile.

54. The server of claim 52, wherein the receiver is further configured to receive a cross-authentication message from the server for providing a profile.

55. The server of claim 52, further comprising:

a controller configured to perform cross-authentication based on the encrypted encryption key.

56. The server of claim 52, wherein the receiver is further configured to receive an encryption key encrypted with a public key for encryption.

57. The server of claim 55, wherein the controller is further configured to decode an encryption key encrypted with a public key for encryption and performs encryption with a certificate public key.

58. The server of claim 57, wherein the controller is further configured to create a first cross-authentication key by performing first cross-authentication with the user equipment, create a second encryption key with the created first cross-authentication key, create a second cross-authentication key by performing second cross-authentication with the user equipment, and encrypt the second encryption key with the created second cross-authentication key.

59. A method of a server for relaying a communication product in a wireless communication system, comprising:

receiving communication service request information from a user equipment that uses an embedded subscriber identity module;

transmitting a communication product list to the user equipment; and

transmitting product purchase information to a mobile communication service provider in response to the communication service request information received from the user equipment.

60. The method of claim 59, wherein the communication service request information comprises at least one of embedded subscriber identity module information of the user equipment, identification information for distinguishing the user equipment, purchase information of a product, payment information, and location information.

61. The method of claim 59, further comprising:

creating authentication information of the server.

62. The method of claim 59, further comprising:

transmitting profile request information to a server for providing a profile or a server for managing a profile.

63. The method of claim 62, wherein, when the server transmits the profile request information to the server for managing the profile, the profile is stored in the server for managing the profile before information for the control of the profile is transmitted.

64. A method of user equipment in a wireless communication system comprising:

transmitting communication service request information to a server for relaying the trade of an embedded subscriber identity module profile;

receiving a communication product list from the server; and

receiving a profile based on the communication service request information.

65. The method of claim 64, wherein the communication service request information comprises at least one of embedded subscriber identity module information of the user equipment, identification information for distinguishing the user equipment, purchase information of a product, payment information, and location information.

66. The method of claim 64, further comprising:

receiving an encryption key from a server for managing a profile.

67. The method of claim 65, further comprising:

performing cross-authentication using an encryption key.

68. The method of claim 65, further comprising:

decoding the received profile and then installing the decoded profile.

69. A method of a server for providing a profile in a wireless communication system, comprising:

creating a first encryption key through a first encryption;

encrypting a profile using the created first encryption key;

creating a second encryption key by performing a second encryption of the first encryption key using a certificate public key; and

transmitting the encrypted profile and the second encryption key to a server for managing a profile,

wherein the profile is created before embedded subscriber identity module information is received.

70. The method of claim 69, further comprising:

performing a cross-authentication using the first encryption key.

71. The method of claim 70, further comprising:

transmitting the mutually authenticated first encryption key to the server for managing a profile.

72. The method of claim 69, further comprising:

performing a cross-authentication with user equipment on a basis of the first encryption key.

73. The method of claim 69, further comprising:

encrypting the first encryption key with a private key for encryption.

74. A method of a server for managing a profile in a wireless communication system, comprising:

receiving an encrypted profile from a server for providing a profile; and

transmitting the encrypted profile and an encryption key encrypted with a certificate public key to user equipment,

wherein the encrypted profile is created by the server for providing a profile before embedded subscriber identity module information is received.

75. The method of claim 74, further comprising:

requesting encryption through a public key from the server for providing a profile.

76. The method of claim 74, further comprising:

receiving a cross-authentication message from the server for providing a profile.

77. The method of claim 74, further comprising:

performing a cross-authentication with the user equipment on a basis of the encrypted encryption key.

78. The method of claim 74, further comprising:

receiving an encryption key encrypted with a public key for encryption.

79. The method of claim 74, further comprising:

decoding an encryption key encrypted with a public key for encryption and performing encryption with a certificate public key.

80. The method of claim 79, further comprising:

creating a first cross-authentication key by performing a first cross-authentication with the user equipment;

creating a second encryption key with the created first cross-authentication key;

creating a second cross-authentication key by performing second cross-authentication with the user equipment; and

encrypting the second encryption key with the created second cross-authentication key.
