1. A method for controlling timing advance command by a base station in a wireless communication system supporting a carrier aggregation technology, the method comprising:

  • transmitting a system information block including a first timing alignment timer (TAT) for at least one of a first timing advance group (TAG) and a second TAG to use in transmitting a random access preamble;

    receiving the random access preamble based on the system information block from a terminal; and

    transmitting a first message including a timing advance command (TAC) and an identity of a TAG including the cell to the terminal,wherein the identity of the TAG is set to 00 if the TAC is to be applied to a primary cell in the first TAG and at least one secondary cell in the first TAG, andwherein the identity of the TAG is not set to 00 if the TAC is to be applied to at least one secondary cells in the second TAG not including the primary cell.
