1. A method, comprising:
- a. Projecting a user interface image on to a surface proximate a head-worn computer, wherein a laser projector in a head-worn computer produces the projection;
b. World-locking the user interface image relative to the surface; and
c. Assessing movements of the head-worn computer and removing, by modifying what content gets projected, at least a portion of the projected user interface when there is an indication that the at least a portion of the projected user interface is out of a view of the user at the world-locked position.

Aspects of the present invention relate to the projection of imagery from a head-worn computer, wherein a projector with x-y control and a laser are mounted in the head-worn computer and positioned to project a raster style interactive user interface image onto a nearby surface.
