Abstract

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed An example apparatus to update a spatially adjustable display disclosed herein includes a display size monitor to acquire an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display, a service image comparator to compare the indication of the size to a size model, and a source image adjuster to invoke visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.

Claims

1. An apparatus to update a spatially adjustable display, comprising:

a display size monitor to acquire an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display;

a service image comparator to compare the indication of the size to a size model; and

a source image adjuster to invoke visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.

2. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, further comprising an encoder to identify an angular position indicative of the size of the spatially adjustable display.

3. An apparatus as defined in claim 2, wherein the angular position is associated with a central storage axis, around which a non-visible portion of the spatially adjustable display is stored.

4. An apparatus as defined in claim 3, wherein the source image adjuster is to send an instruction to disable output to the non-visible portion of the spatially adjustable display.

5. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, further comprising a length marker sensor to identify a position of the spatially adjustable display.

6. An apparatus as defined in claim 5, wherein the position is indicative of a visible portion of the spatially adjustable display and a non-visible portion of the spatially adjustable display.

7. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, further comprising a prioritizer to identify a display priority of a plurality of icons to be rendered on the spatially adjustable display.

8. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, wherein the spatially adjustable display comprises a flexible display surface.

9. An apparatus as defined in claim 8, wherein the flexible display surface is stored in a coil orientation.

10. A method to update a spatially adjustable display, comprising:

acquiring an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display;

comparing the indication of the size to a size model; and

invoking visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.

11. A method as defined in claim 10, wherein the size of the spatially adjustable display comprises at least one of a length value or an area value.

12. A method as defined in claim 10, wherein the spatially adjustable display comprises a flexible display surface.

13. A method as defined in claim 12, further comprising storing the flexible display surface in a coil orientation.

14. A method as defined in claim 13, wherein a first portion of the flexible display surface in the coil orientation is not visible to a user and a second portion of the flexible display surface is in an uncoiled orientation that is visible to the user.

15. A method as defined in claim 12, wherein the flexible display surface comprises at least one fold portion.

16. A method as defined in claim 10, wherein the spatially adjustable display comprises a foldable display surface.

17. A machine accessible storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed, cause a machine to at least:

acquire an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display;

compare the indication of the size to a size model; and

invoke visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.

18. A machine accessible storage medium as defined in claim 17, further comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the machine to identify an angular position indicative of the size of the spatially adjustable display.

19. A machine accessible storage medium as defined in claim 17, further comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the machine to store a non-visible portion of the spatially adjustable display around a central storage axis.

20. A machine accessible storage medium as defined in claim 19, further comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the machine to send an instruction to disable output to the non-visible portion of the spatially adjustable display.
