Abstract

A flexible display screen system and method includes an article that has a flexible material configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s anatomy or at least a portion of an object. At least one flexible display screen is secured on the flexible material. A computer system is configured to provide image information for controlling a display of images on the flexible display screen. The computer system is configured to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the sensor signal. The sensor may sense flexing of the flexible display screen or flexible material. Alternatively or in addition, the flexible display screen or flexible material may be controlled to flex, in response to the images displayed on the flexible display screen.

Claims

1. A flexible display screen system comprising:

an article comprising a flexible material configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s anatomy or at least a portion of an object;

at least one flexible display screen secured on the flexible material;

a computer system configured to provide image information for controlling a display of images on the flexible display screen.

2. A system as recited in claim 1, wherein the article comprises a mask configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s face.

3. A system as recited in claim 1, wherein the article comprises a mask configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s head.

4. A system as recited in claim 1, wherein the article comprises at least one of a headband, wristband, glove, shirt, belt and shoe.

5. A system as recited in claim 1, wherein the computer system includes at least one sensor that provides a sensor signal in response to a sensed parameter, the computer system configured to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the sensor signal.

6. A system as recited in claim 5, wherein the at least one sensor comprises at least one sensor that senses flexing of the flexible material or the at least one flexible display screen.

7. A system as recited in claim 6, wherein the computer system is configured to provide image information for providing a plurality of different images corresponding to a respective plurality of different amounts of flexing sensed by the at least one sensor.

8. A system as recited in claim 1, further comprising magnetic members attached to the flexible material for securing the flexible material to a metal object.

A system as recited in claim 1, wherein the computer system includes at least one timer that provides a timer signal in response to an expiration of a predefined time period, the computer system configured to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the timer signal.

10. A system as recited in claim 9, wherein the computer system is configured to provide image information for providing a plurality of different images corresponding to a respective plurality of expirations different predefined time period timed by the at least one timer.

11. A method of making a flexible display screen system, the method comprising:

configuring a flexible material of an article to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s anatomy or at least a portion of an object;

securing at least one flexible display screen on the flexible material;

configuring a computer system to provide image information for controlling a display of images on the flexible display screen.

12. A method as recited in claim 11, wherein the article comprises a mask configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s face.

13. A method as recited in claim 11, wherein the article comprises a mask configured to cover at least a portion of a person'"'"'s head.

14. A method as recited in claim 11, wherein the article comprises at least one of a headband, wristband, glove, shirt, belt and shoe.

A method as recited in claim 11, further comprising receiving a sensor signal from at least one sensor that provides the sensor signal in response to a sensed parameter, and configuring the computer system to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the sensor signal.

16. A method as recited in claim 15, wherein the at least one sensor comprises at least one sensor that senses flexing of the flexible material or the at least one flexible display screen.

17. A method as recited in claim 16, further comprising configuring the computer system to provide image information for providing a plurality of different images corresponding to a respective plurality of different amounts of flexing sensed by the at least one sensor.

18. A method as recited in claim 11, further comprising attaching magnetic members to the flexible material for securing the article to a metal object.

19. A method as recited in claim 11, receiving a timer signal from at least one timer that provides the timer signal in response to an expiration of a predefined time period, and configuring the computer system to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the timer signal.

20. A method as recited in claim 19, further comprising configuring the computer system to provide image information for providing a plurality of different images corresponding to a respective plurality of expirations of different predefined time periods timed by the at least one timer.
