1. An information receiving method, applied for a terminal to receive information pushed by a server, the method comprising:
- listening to, by the terminal, a notification message transmitted from the server;
establishing, by the terminal, a connection with the server base upon the notification message listened; and
receiving, by the terminal, information transmitted from the server over the connection, and upon reception of the information transmitted from the server, disconnecting, by the terminal, the connection immediately or after a preset period of time.
