Abstract

To provide a display device or the like that enables stable curing of a resin. The display device includes a first circuit and a second circuit over the same substrate. The first circuit has a function of performing display; the second circuit has a function of driving the first circuit; the second circuit includes a transistor and a capacitor; the transistor includes an oxide semiconductor layer over a first insulating layer; the capacitor includes a first conductive layer, a second insulating layer, and a second conductive layer; the first conductive layer is positioned over the first insulating layer; one of a source and a drain of the transistor is electrically connected to the second conductive layer; and the first conductive layer and the oxide semiconductor layer include the same metal element.

Claims

1. A display device comprising:

first and second circuits over a substrate,

wherein the first circuit is included in a display portion,

wherein the second circuit is included in a driver circuit portion,

wherein the second circuit includes a transistor and a capacitor,

wherein the transistor comprises;

an oxide semiconductor layer over a first insulating layer; and

source and drain electrodes electrically connected to the oxide semiconductor layer,

wherein the capacitor comprises;

a first conductive layer over the first insulating layer; and

a second conductive layer over the first conductive layer with a second insulating layer therebetween,

wherein one of the source and drain electrodes is electrically connected to the second conductive layer, and

wherein the first conductive layer and the oxide semiconductor layer include the same metal element.

2. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer each have a light-transmitting property.

3. The display device according to claim 1, further comprising:

an adhesive layer over the capacitor,

wherein the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer each overlap with the adhesive layer.

4. The display device according to claim 3, wherein the adhesive layer comprises any one of an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, a silicone resin, a phenol resin, a polyimide resin, an imide resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polyvinyl butyral resin, an ethylene vinyl acetate resin and silica.

5. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the first conductive layer includes a region with a hydrogen concentration higher than that of the oxide semiconductor layer.

6. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the second insulating layer includes a silicon nitride film.

7. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the first circuit includes a liquid crystal element.

8. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the first circuit includes an organic EL element.

9. A display module comprising the display device according to claim 1, wherein a printed circuit is electrically connected to the display device.

10. A display device comprising:

first and second circuits over a substrate,

wherein the first circuit is included in a display portion,

wherein the second circuit is included in a driver circuit portion,

wherein the second circuit includes a transistor, a first capacitor and a second capacitor,

wherein the transistor comprises;

an oxide semiconductor layer over a first insulating layer; and

source and drain electrodes electrically connected to the oxide semiconductor layer,

wherein the first capacitor comprises;

a first conductive layer over the first insulating layer; and

a second conductive layer over the first conductive layer with a second insulating layer therebetween,

wherein the second capacitor comprises;

a third conductive layer; and

the first conductive layer over the third conductive layer with the first insulating layer therebetween,

wherein one of the source and drain electrodes is electrically connected to the second conductive layer, and

wherein the first conductive layer and the oxide semiconductor layer include the same metal element.

11. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the first conductive layer, the second conductive layer, and the third conductive layer each have a light-transmitting property.

12. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the first capacitor and the second capacitor overlap with each other.

13. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the second conductive layer and the third conductive layer are electrically connected to each other.

14. The display device according to claim 10, further comprising:

an adhesive layer over the capacitor,

wherein the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer each overlap with the adhesive layer.

15. The display device according to claim 14, wherein the adhesive layer comprises any one of an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, a silicone resin, a phenol resin, a polyimide resin, an imide resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polyvinyl butyral resin, an ethylene vinyl acetate resin and silica.

16. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the second insulating layer includes a silicon nitride film.

17. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the first circuit includes a liquid crystal element.

18. The display device according to claim 10, wherein the first circuit includes an organic EL element.

19. A display module comprising the display device according to claim 10, wherein a printed circuit is electrically connected to the display device.
