Abstract

An image processing apparatus includes a first connecting unit connected to an image pickup apparatus, a plurality of second connecting units connected to one control apparatus or one other image processing apparatus, the control apparatus being configured to control a robot; and a processing unit configured to process picked-up images picked up by the image pickup apparatus.

Claims

1. An image processing apparatus comprising:

a first connecting unit connected to an image pickup apparatus;

a plurality of second connecting units connected to one control apparatus or one other image processing apparatus, the control apparatus being configured to control a robot; and

a processing unit configured to process picked-up images picked up by the image pickup apparatus.

2. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein

the plurality of second connecting units respectively have different identifiers, and

the processing unit is capable of setting a same IP address for at least two or more second connecting units among the plurality of second connecting units.

3. The image processing apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the processing unit is capable of setting, for the second connecting units other than the second connecting units for which the same IP address is set, an IP address different from the same IP address.

4. The image processing apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the same IP address is information input from an information processing apparatus that outputs a control program for the robot to the one or more control apparatuses or information input from a setting screen on which an IP address can be set.

5. A robot system comprising:

the image processing apparatus according to claim 1;

a robot main body unit;

the image pickup apparatus; and

the control apparatus configured to perform driving control for the robot main body unit.

6. A robot system comprising:

the image processing apparatus according to claim 2;

a robot main body unit;

the image pickup apparatus; and

the control apparatus configured to perform driving control for the robot main body unit.

7. A robot system comprising:

the image processing apparatus according to claim 3;

a robot main body unit;

the image pickup apparatus; and

the control apparatus configured to perform driving control for the robot main body unit.

8. A robot system comprising:

the image processing apparatus according to claim 4;

a robot main body unit;

the image pickup apparatus; and

the control apparatus configured to perform driving control for the robot main body unit.
