Abstract

Computer (server)-based system for detecting anomalous data patterns and generating alert notifications and guaranteeing delivery by soliciting acknowledgement by end-users. If acknowledgement is not obtained within a pre-determined timeframe, the notification is escalated to managing authority and the process repeats until acknowledgement is obtained or the full chain of command is exhausted.

Claims

1. A data pattern and alert notification system comprising:

an external data source representing sources of data from real-world events made digitally available to the system;

an analytical system comprising software and hardware configurations, wherein the analytical system monitors data from the external data source, analyzes the data from the external data source, and creates a notification instruction;

an alert queue that stores the notification instruction; and

a notification system comprising software and hardware configurations, wherein the notification system processes the notification instruction, sends the processed notification instruction to an end user, and receives an acknowledgment receipt from the end user.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the external data source is a weather station collecting weather information.
