Abstract

A system and method to facilitate lifestyle changes by providing support, motivation, progress/tracking, information, analysis. Exemplary embodiments include targeted suggestions for changes based on the individual'"'"'s actual activity to increase the likelihood of a successful adoption. Exemplary embodiments may also include convenient mechanisms for entering information into the system for assessing and tracking the user'"'"'s performance.

Claims

1. A platform to facilitate healthy lifestyle changes including improved diet and exercise, consisting:

an application viewable on a mobile device, the application configured to;

track an activity level and dietary level of a user;

analyze the tracked levels for consistency, and/or in relation to a goal; and

provide feedback to the user in response to the analysis.

2. The platform of claim 1, wherein the application suggests additional activities to the user to achieve the goal.

3. The platform of claim 1, wherein the application determines when a user is not on a trajectory to achieve the goal and intervenes by providing motivational support, reminders, information, suggested alternatives, or any combination thereof.

4. The platform of claim 1, wherein the tracker for dietary level includes a portion control system.

5. The platform of claim 1, wherein the portion control system uses a camera to assess the portion size and indicates to a user whether the chosen amount is appropriate or too large.

6. The platform of claim 1, further comprising remote devices to track activity levels that communicate with the application to supply the information to the application for tracking and analysis.

7. The platform of claim 1, comprising a social network to provide support to the user.

8. The platform of claim 1, wherein information, suggested trajectories, alerts, calendars notices, and any combination thereof are used to modify a lifestyle habit of the user for an extended period of time.

9. The platform of claim 1, wherein the extended period of time is over 16 weeks.
