d. a combiner that redirects light reflected by the reflective image source for viewing by a user'"'"'s eye and provides a see-through view of an environment; and
e. a segmented partially reflective layer that redirects light from the light source towards the reflective image source and transmits light reflected by the reflective image source, wherein the segmented partially reflective layer includes at least one flat segment;
wherein the segmented partially reflective layer is positioned between the one or more lenses and the combiner.
