Abstract

A charging device for charging one or more electronic devices is provided. The charging device includes a charging unit configured to include a first charging unit, and a second charging unit, the second charging unit protruding from charging unit at an angle greater than or equal to a predetermined reference angle, where, if at least one of the first charging unit and the second charging unit is arranged to face at least one electronic device in a face-to-face manner, the at least one of the first charging unit and the second charging unit supplies wireless power to the at least one electronic device.

Claims

1. A charging device for charging one or more electronic devices, the charging device comprising:

a charging unit configured to include a first charging unit, and a second charging unit, the second charging unit protruding from charging unit at an angle greater than or equal to a predetermined reference angle;

wherein, if at least one of the first charging unit and the second charging unit is arranged to face at least one electronic device in a face-to-face manner, the at least one of the first charging unit and the second charging unit supplies wireless power to the at least one electronic device.

2. The charging device of claim 1, wherein, if the charging unit is implemented as a rectangular parallelepiped, the second charging unit is included in any one of a top left corner, a bottom left corner, a top right corner and a bottom right corner of the charging unit.

The charging device of claim 1, wherein a charging surface of the first charging unit is positioned parallel to the ground, and, if an angle between the electronic device and a surface of the charging unit is the predetermined reference angle, the second charging unit supplies the wireless power to the at least one electronic device.

4. The charging device of claim 3, wherein the second charging unit is configured to include a groove into which the at least one electronic device is to be inserted so that the at least one electronic device is arranged to face the second charging unit in the face-to-face manner.

5. A method for receiving wireless power at an electronic device, the method comprising:

determining whether power supply from a charging device is started; and

running a clock mode, if the power supply is started.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the clock mode is an operation mode for continuously displaying at least one of a date, a day, a current time, and weather.

7. The method of claim 5, further comprising:

determining whether charging is completed; and

maintaining the clock mode, even if the charging is completed.

8. The method of claim 5, further comprising:

releasing the clock mode, if the electronic device is located a distance from the charging device that is greater than or equal to a predetermined distance.

9. An electronic device for receiving wireless power, the electronic device comprising:

a processor configured to determine whether power supply from a charging device is started, and to run a clock mode if the power supply is started; and

a display configured to display at least one of a date, a day, a current time and weather in the clock mode.

10. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the clock mode is an operation mode for continuously displaying at least one of the date, the day, the current time, and weather.

11. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the processor determines whether charging is completed, and maintains the clock mode, even if the charging is completed.

12. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the processor releases the clock mode, if the electronic device is located a distance from the charging device that is greater than or equal to a predetermined distance.
