Abstract
Described herein are techniques for integrated work management. An integrated work management server processes one or more datum of one or more source systems. The datum relates to at least one work item representing at least one assignment to be processed by a resource. An integrator is coupled to the integrated work management server. The integrator uses the one or more datum to create, store and/or update a combined work queue for the resource. The combined work queue comprises any of at least one work item and at least one assignment. One or more prioritization rules specify one or more criteria. The integrator prioritizes the combined work queue by evaluating the criteria in accord with the one or more datum.

53. An integrated work management system comprising:

a plurality of source systems including digital data processors that each process an individual work queue generated by each source system in the plurality of source systems, wherein each individual work queue includes at least one work item representing at least one assignment to be completed by at least one resource; and a server digital data processor communicatively coupled with the one or more source systems, wherein the server digital data processor is configured to; generate a combined work queue by aggregating work items for the at least one resource from each individual work queue generated by each source system in the plurality of source systems; receive a request for a specified work item in the combined work queue from a client digital data processor; parse the received request to identify a source system from among the plurality of source systems that processes the specified work item; construct a resource locator for the identified source system; and transmit a redirect request to the client digital data processor, the redirect request using the resource locator to cause the identified source system to transmit a markup language stream to the client digital data processor for display in a portal user interface executing on the client digital data processor, wherein the portal user interface renders the markup language stream to display information associated with the specified work item within a composite view of information associated with at least a portion of the plurality of source systems and the combined work queue. - View Dependent Claims (54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62)

63. A method for integrated work management, the method comprising:

generating a combined work queue by aggregating work items for at least one resource from each individual work queue generated by each source system in a plurality of source systems, wherein each individual work queue includes at least one work item representing at least one assignment to be completed by at least one resource; receiving a request for a specified work item in the combined work queue from a client digital data processor; parsing the received request to identify a source system from among the plurality of source systems that processes the specified work item; constructing a resource locator for the identified source system; and transmitting a redirect request to the client digital data processor, the redirect request using the resource locator to cause the identified source system to transmit a markup language stream to the client digital data processor for display in a portal user interface executing on the client digital data processor, wherein the portal user interface renders the markup language stream to display information associated with the specified work item within a composite view of information associated with at least a portion of the plurality of source systems and the combined work queue. - View Dependent Claims (64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72)
