Abstract

System platform, software and hardware equipment and components, and methodologies are provided for generating, organizing, storing and retrieving medical records using voice recognition in combination with unique codes assigned to data elements, and include microprocessor and memory, such as non-transient computer readable medium, having stored thereon a database including vocabulary terms. Speech recognition interface receives spoken language. Display generates an output according to vocabulary terms uniquely associated with the spoken language. Data stored in the database can include records organized into specific modules having specified vocabulary terms synced with each module and unique computer code to key vocabulary terms in the database. Using an associated unique code can cause specific data field to open on display when recognizing specific spoken word or phrase by the speech recognition interface.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

a microprocessor in communication with a non-transient computer readable medium having stored thereon a database comprising a plurality of vocabulary terms and identifiers assigned to said terms;

a speech recognition interface in communication with said microprocessor and receiving a spoken language including an audio representation of at least one of said vocabulary terms; and

a display in communication with said microprocessor and generating an output according to at least one of said vocabulary terms uniquely associated with said audio representation, and opening at least one data field uniquely associated with at least one identifier assigned to said at least one of said vocabulary terms.

2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein selectively referencing at least one of said identifiers opens an associated data field on said display when speech recognition interface recognizes a corresponding audio representation of at least one of said vocabulary terms.

3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein data stored in said database comprises records organized into modules each synchronized with at least one of said plurality of vocabulary terms.

The system as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a second display in communication with said microprocessor, wherein an output of said second display is interactively associated with said recognized audio representation of said at least one of said vocabulary terms, and comprises at least one of visual, textual, and audio information associated with said at least one of said vocabulary terms.

5. The system as claimed in claim 4, wherein said output on said second display comprises information in an illustrative and explanatory format relevant to said at least one of said vocabulary terms.

6. The system as claimed in claim 3, wherein said display outputs at least a portion of said records from a module synchronized with at least one of said plurality of vocabulary terms recognized by said speech recognition interface.

The system as claimed in claim 2, wherein selectively referencing at least one other of said identifiers closes a previously opened data field, and opens another data field associated with said at least one other of said identifiers when said speech recognition interface recognizes a corresponding audio representation of at least one other of said vocabulary terms.

8. A method comprising:

storing on non-transient computer readable medium a database including vocabulary terms;

associating an identifier with at least a selected plurality of said vocabulary terms in said database; and

preforming on a computer generated graphical interface a predetermined function in accordance with said identifier associated with said at least one of said selected plurality of said vocabulary terms.

9. The method as claimed in claim 8, further comprising

generating on said computer generated graphical interface an output according to at least one of said vocabulary terms;

and

opening on said computer generated graphical interface at least one data field uniquely associated with at least one identifier assigned to said at least one of said vocabulary terms

10. The method as claimed in claim 9, further comprising

when selectively referencing at least one of said identifier, opening a data field on said computer generated graphical interface when the speech recognition interface recognizes a corresponding audio representation of at least one of said vocabulary terms.

11. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein said data stored in said database comprises records organized into modules, each of said modules synchronized with at least one of said plurality of vocabulary terms.

The method as claimed in claim 8, further comprising generating an output on a second computer generated graphical interface, said output being interactively associated with said recognized audio representation of said at least one of said vocabulary terms, and comprising at least one of visual, textual, and audio information associated with said at least one of said vocabulary terms.

13. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein said output on said second computer generated graphical interface comprises information in an illustrative and explanatory format relevant to said at least one of said vocabulary terms.

14. The method as claimed in claim 11, wherein said computer generated graphical interface outputs at least a portion of said records from a module synchronized with at least one of said plurality of vocabulary terms.

The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein selectively referencing at least one other of said identifiers closes a previously opened data field, and opens another data field associated with said at least one other of said identifiers when the speech recognition interface recognizes a corresponding audio representation of at least one other of said vocabulary terms.
