1. A control device for an internal combustion engine, the control device comprising:

  • an electronic control unit configured to control the internal combustion engine in a case where a cooling water temperature pertaining to the internal combustion engine is equal to or higher than a reference cooling water temperature such that a center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate of the internal combustion engine becomes a crank angle at a reference position, the electronic control unit being configured to control the internal combustion engine in a case where the cooling water temperature pertaining to the internal combustion engine is lower than the reference cooling water temperature such that the center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate becomes a crank angle further on an advance side than the reference position.
