1. A method, comprising:
- receiving a request for a wrap package from a requesting computing device, the request including a wrap identifier that is associated with the requested wrap package; and
delivering to the requesting computing device, in response to the request, a wrap descriptor that specifies the requested wrap package, the wrap descriptor;
(a) defining a set of cards of the wrap package; and
(b) including a plurality of card descriptors, each card descriptor arranged to define content, a structure and a layout of an associated one of the cards respectively,wherein the requesting computing device is configured to;
(c) render a runtime instance of the set of cards of the wrap package, generated from the delivered wrap descriptor, in an overlay window appearing within a display associated with the requesting computing device; and
(d) render other content, not included in the wrap package, in a portion of the display outside of the overlay window.
