Abstract

A power-supplying device for wirelessly transmitting alternating current (AC) power to a power-receiving device includes a voltage converter, an inverter circuit connected to the voltage converter, a communication unit configured to receive an output value of a rectification circuit provided in the power-receiving device from the power-receiving device, and a switching control unit configured to control the inverter circuit so that the inverter circuit converts direct current (DC) power into AC power and control whether the voltage converter steps up an input voltage or not based on whether an output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit reaches a specific value.

Claims

1. A power-supplying device for wirelessly transmitting alternating current (AC) power to a power-receiving device, the power-supplying device comprising:

a voltage converter;

an inverter circuit connected to the voltage converter;

a communication unit configured to receive an output value of a rectification circuit provided in the power-receiving device from the power-receiving device; and

a switching control unit configured to control the inverter circuit so that the inverter circuit converts direct current (DC) power into AC power and control whether the voltage converter steps up an input voltage or not based on whether an output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit reaches a specific value.

The power-supplying device according to claim 1, wherein the switching control unit controls the voltage converter so that the voltage converter does not step up the input voltage when the output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit reaches the specific value.

The power-supplying device according to claim 1, wherein the switching control unit controls the voltage converter so that the voltage converter steps up the input voltage when the output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit does not reach the specific value.

4. The power-supplying device according to claim 1, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a phase difference of each of the switching signals.

5. The power-supplying device according to claim 1, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a duty ratio of each of the switching signals.

6. The power-supplying device according to claim 1, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a frequency of each of the switching signals.

7. The power-supplying device according to claim 1,

wherein the output value of the voltage converter is a value of power, a voltage, or a current output by the voltage converter, and

wherein the output value of the rectification circuit is a value of power, a voltage, or a current output by the rectification circuit.

8. A wireless power-supplying system comprising:

a power-supplying device configured to wirelessly transmit AC power to a power-receiving device, the power-supplying device including

a voltage converter;

an inverter circuit connected to the voltage converter; and

a first communication unit, and

the power-receiving device including

a rectification circuit;

a control unit configured to output an output value of the rectification circuit; and

a second communication unit connected to the control unit and configured to transmit the output value to the first communication unit,

wherein the power-supplying device includes a switching control unit configured to control the inverter circuit so that the inverter circuit converts DC power into AC power and control whether the voltage converter steps up an input voltage or not based on whether an output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit reaches a specific value.

The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8, wherein the switching control unit controls the voltage converter so that the voltage converter does not step up the input voltage when the output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit reaches the specific value.

The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8, wherein the switching control unit controls the voltage converter so that the voltage converter steps up the input voltage when the output value of the voltage converter or the output value of the rectification circuit does not reach the specific value.

11. The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a phase difference of each of the switching signals.

12. The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a duty ratio of each of the switching signals.

13. The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8, wherein the switching control unit outputs switching signals for switching an ON state and an OFF state of each of switching elements included in the inverter circuit and adjusts a frequency of each of the switching signals.

14. The wireless power-supplying system according to claim 8,

wherein the output value of the voltage converter is a value of power, a voltage, or a current output by the voltage converter, and

wherein the output value of the rectification circuit is a value of power, a voltage, or a current output by the rectification circuit.
