Abstract

A cold cuts cutting machine for cutting food, such as sausage, cheese or meat, for example, into slices, in particular for simultaneously slicing at least two pieces of stick-shaped food by means of a cutting blade. A minimization or a cancellation, respectively, of adhesive and frictional forces or the production of a noncutting pass, respectively, is to be make possible thereby and the supply of the food, which is to be sliced, is to be improved further. The cold cuts cutting machine includes a lower and an upper traction belt, between which the product bar can be guided such that the lower traction belt can carry out a relative movement, which is substantially vertical to the conveying direction of the product bar, with respect to a cutting latch.

Claims

1. A cold cuts cutting machine for cutting food, such as sausage, cheese or meat, for example, into slices, in particular for simultaneously slicing at least two stick-shaped product bars with a cutting blade, comprising a feed for the food, which is to be sliced, to the cutting blade, wherein the cutting machine comprises a lower and an upper traction belt between which the product bar can be guided in such a manner that the lower traction belt can carry out a relative movement, which is substantially vertical to the conveying direction of the product bar, with respect to a cutting latch.

2. The cold cuts cutting machine according to claim 1, wherein the lower traction belt is arranged so as to be pivotable about an inlet shaft.

3. The cold cuts cutting machine according to claim 2, wherein the lower traction belt can be used as stop for the product bar in response to loading it.

4. The cold cuts cutting machine according to claim 1, wherein the cutting latch is preferably arranged so as to be capable of being moved parallel to the cutting blade.

5. The cold cuts cutting machine according to claim 1, wherein the lower traction belt is provided with its own lifting drive.

6. The cold cuts cutting machine according to claim 5, wherein the lifting drive is a crank drive.

A method for cutting food, such as sausage, cheese or meat, for example, into slices of at least two stick-shaped product bars with a cutting blade, wherein the product bars are guided between an upper traction belt and a lower traction belt, wherein the lower traction belt can carry out a relative movement, which is substantially vertical to the conveying direction of the product bar, with respect to a cutting latch, so that the bearing strengths of the product bar on the cutting latch are minimized.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the cutting latch can carry out a relative movement, which is substantially vertical to the conveying direction of the product bar, so that the bearing strengths of the product bar on the cutting latch are minimized.

9. The method according to claim 7, wherein the lifting movement of the lower traction belt also serves to embody a stop for the product bars in response to loading and gripping the product bars.

10. The method according to claim 8, wherein the movement of the cutting latch also serves to fix and release the latter in a cutting machine.

11. The method according to claim 7, wherein the relative movement of the lower traction belt is carried out by its own drive and the bearing strengths of the product bar on the cutting latch can be regulated during a cutting and noncutting process.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the drive of the pivot movement of the lower traction belt takes place via a crank drive.

13. The method according to claim 7, wherein the bearing strengths of the product bar on the cutting latch can be set dynamically during the cutting process, so as to optimize the cutting result.
