a third circuit segment comprising a controller, the controller configured to alter the transistor state of the plurality of transistors to change the resonating pen to a resonance frequency of the plurality of resonance frequencies; and
a switch configured to control the controller.

The controller is configured to alter the transistor state of the transistors to change the resonating pen to a resonance frequency. The resonating pen further includes a switch configured to control the controller.
