Abstract

A content participation translation apparatus includes a content registration unit for registering an original of content data on a database, wherein text data and image data are stored separately in the original of the content data; a data selection unit for individually selecting text data and image data included in either the original of the content data or a translation of the content data in which a translation is added to the original of the content data; a translations editor providing unit for providing a user terminal with a translations editor including a content data display unit for displaying the text data and the image data and a text data editor unit in which a translation of the text data is input; and a content storage unit for receiving a second-language text from at least one user terminal via the translations editor, and storing the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as a translation of the content data.

Claims

1. A content participation translation apparatus comprising:

a content registration unit for registering an original of content data on a database, wherein text data and image data are stored separately in the original of the content data;

a data selection unit for individually selecting the text data and the image data included in either the original of the content data or a translation of the content data in which a translation is added to the original of the content data;

a translations editor providing unit for providing at least one user terminal with a translations editor, wherein the translations editor includes a content data display unit configured to display the text data and the image data, and a text data editor unit in which a translation of the text data is input; and

a content storage unit for receiving a second-language text which is input from the at least one user terminal via the translations editor, and storing the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as a translation of the content data.

2. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 1, wherein the text data and the image data are stored in different layers in the original of the content data.

3. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 1, wherein the text data included in the original of the content data comprises only a first-language text.

4. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 3, wherein the content storage unit stores, as the translation of the content data, the image data, the first-language text, and the at least one second-language text received from the at least one user terminal.

5. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 1, wherein the text data comprises at least one unit text,

wherein the translations editor is configured to input a translation of each of the at least one unit text.

6. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 5, wherein the content storage unit stores each of the at least one unit text in a different layer.

7. The content participation translation apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a team management unit for managing generation and deletion of a translation team and joining and withdrawal of members of the translation team,

wherein the team management unit assigns a right to participate in translating a content to members of a preset translation team.

The content participation translation apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a translation evaluation unit for evaluating the user of the user terminal, based on at least one among a number of sentences translated by the user, a number of times the user visits a participation translation site, a number of times the user views other users'"'"' translations, and the number of followers of the user.

9. A content participation translation method, the method comprising:

registering an original of content data with a content participation translation apparatus, performed by a content registration unit;

individually selecting text data and image data included in either the original of the content data or a translation of the content data in which a translation is added to the original of the content data, performed by a data selection unit;

providing at least one user terminal with a translations editor for displaying the text data and the image data, and including a text data editor in which a translation of the text data is input by a user, performed by a translations editor providing unit; and

receiving a second-language text which is input by the user from the at least one user terminal via the translations editor, and storing the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as a translation of the content data, performed by a content storage unit.

10. The content participation translation method of claim 9, wherein the text data and the image data are stored in different layers in the original of the content data.

11. The content participation translation method of claim 9, wherein the text data included in the original of the content data comprises only a first-language text.

12. The content participation translation method of claim 11, wherein the storing of the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as the translation of the content data comprises storing, as the translation of the content data, the image data, the first-language text, and the at least one second-language text received from the at least one user terminal.

13. The content participation translation method of claim 9, wherein the text data comprises at least one unit text,

wherein the translations editor is configured to input a translation of each of the at least one unit text.

14. The content participation translation method of claim 13, wherein the storing of the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as the translation of the content data comprises storing each of the at least one unit text in a different layer.

15. The content participation translation method of claim 9, further comprising managing generation and deletion of a translation team and joining and withdrawal of members of the translation team, performed by a team management unit,

wherein the team management unit assigns a right to participate in translating a content to members of a preset translation team.

16. The content participation translation method of claim 9, further comprising evaluating the user of the user terminal, based on at least one among a number of sentences translated by the user, a number of times the user visits a participation translation site, a number of times the user views other users'"'"' translations, and the number of followers of the user, performed by a translation evaluation unit.

17. A computer program for performing content translation stored in a computer readable recording medium, said program, when executed by a computer, performing the steps comprising:

registering an original of content data with a content participation translation apparatus, performed by a content registration unit;

individually selecting text data and image data included in either the original of the content data or a translation of the content data in which a translation is added to the original of the content data, performed by a data selection unit;

providing at least one user terminal with a translations editor for displaying the text data and the image data, and including a text data editor in which a translation of the text data is input by a user, performed by a translations editor providing unit; and

receiving a second-language text which is input by the user from the at least one user terminal via the translations editor, and storing the text data, the image data, and the received second-language text as a translation of the content data, performed by a content storage unit.
