Abstract

A sensor for a vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a processor including first to sixth pins; first to third input pins connected with a connector; and an exchange circuit including first to third pins connected with the processor and the first to third input pins, and fourth to sixth pins connected with the processor, and a vehicle according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of sensors for a vehicle, each of which includes: a processor including first to sixth pins; first to third input pins connected with a connector; and an exchange circuit including first to third pins connected with the processor and the first to third input pins, and fourth to sixth pins connected with the processor; and an electronic control unit (ECU) connected with the plurality of sensors for a vehicle by a bus topology method.

Claims

1. A sensor for a vehicle, comprising:

a processor including first to sixth pins;

first to third input pins connected with a connector; and

an exchange circuit including first to third pins connected with the processor and the first to to third input pins, and fourth to sixth pins connected with the processor.

2. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the first to third input pins are identified by determining signal levels of the first to third pins of the processor.

3. The sensor of claim 2, wherein a pin receiving a bit from an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle among the first to third pins of the processor is determined as a local interconnect network (LIN) pin.

4. The sensor of claim 2, wherein a pin in a high state is determined as a power supply pin, and a pin in a low state is determined as a ground pin by reading the signal levels of the first to third pins of the processor.

5. The sensor of claim 2, wherein an address of a sensor is set by comparing the identified first to third input pins and a predetermined address designating table.

6. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the fourth to sixth pins of the exchange circuit are connected with the fourth to sixth pins of the processor.

7. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the fourth to sixth pins of the processor are a power supply pin, a LIN pin, and a ground pin, respectively.

8. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the first to third pins of the exchange circuit are connected with the first to third pins of the processor.

9. The sensor of claim 1, wherein an address of a sensor is set according to functions and an arrangement order of the first to third input pins.

10. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the sensor for a vehicle is an ultrasonic sensor for transceiving data with the vehicle through LIN communication.

11. A vehicle, comprising:

a plurality of sensors for a vehicle, each of which includes;

a processor including first to sixth pins;

first to third input pins connected with a connector; and

an exchange circuit including first to third pins connected with the processor and the first to third input pins, and fourth to sixth pins connected with the processor; and

an electronic control unit (ECU) connected with the plurality of sensors for a vehicle by a bus topology method.

12. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein the first to third input pins are identified by determining signal levels of the first to third pins of the processor.

13. The vehicle of claim 12, wherein a pin receiving a bit from the ECU among the first to third pins of the processor is determined as a local interconnect network (LIN) pin.

14. The vehicle of claim 12, wherein a pin in a high state is determined as a power supply pin, and a pin in a low state is determined as a ground pin by reading the signal levels of the first to third pins of the processor.

15. The vehicle of claim 12, wherein an address of the plurality of sensors is set by comparing the identified first to third input pins and a predetermined address designating table.

16. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein the fourth to sixth pins of the exchange circuit are connected with the fourth to sixth pins of the processor.

17. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein the fourth to sixth pins of the processor are a power supply pin, a LIN pin, and a ground pin, respectively.

18. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein the first to third pins of the exchange circuit are connected with the first to third pins of the processor.

19. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein an address of the plurality of sensors is set according to functions and an arrangement order of the first to third input pins.

20. The vehicle of claim 11, wherein the plurality of sensors is an ultrasonic sensor transceiving data with the ECU through LIN communication.
