1. A method for a first terminal to perform a proximity service (ProSe) in a wireless communication system, comprising:
- transmitting, by the first terminal, a ProSe discovery request to a first network entity; and
receiving, by the first terminal, a ProSe discovery response from the first network entity, wherein the ProSe discovery response indicates rejection of the ProSe when the first terminal and a second terminal are determined not to be in proximity in a predetermined time window, andwherein the proximity is determined on the basis of location information received through a home subscriber server (HSS).

Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for a first terminal to perform a proximity service (ProSe) in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: a first terminal transmitting a Prose discovery request to a first network entity; and the first terminal receiving a ProSe discovery response from the first network entity, wherein the ProSe discovery response indicates a refusal of the ProSe if the first terminal and a second terminal area determined not to be in a proximity relationship during a previously configured temporal period.

15. A first network entity supporting a ProSe in a wireless communication system, comprising:
-
a radio frequency unit; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to receive a ProSe discovery request from a first terminal and to transmit a ProSe discovery response to the first network entity, wherein the ProSe discovery response indicates rejection of the ProSe when the first terminal and a second terminal are determined not to be in proximity in a predetermined time window, and wherein the proximity is determined on the basis of location information received through a home subscriber server (HSS).
