1. An authentication system to enable transactions between a first party and users with secure data, comprising:
- a device including;
a communication interface for communicating a signal including a time variant code to the first party responsive to an authentication input by a user to trigger payment processing for services;
a database including a first code associated with the user, and wherein the time variant code is generated with the first code associated with the user; and
a processor configured to communicate the signal including the time variant code for the user and to receive an approval signal indicating an authorized transaction, the receiving of the time variant code being based on matching of the time variant code to the user on whose behalf a transaction is to be performed, mapping of the user to secure data for identifying the user or a user account and including information required to enable the transaction to proceed anonymously at the first party, the information including account identifying information or user identifying information, and wherein the account or user identifying information is employed for enabling the transaction but the account or user identifying information remains unknown to the first party throughout processing.

Abstract
A secure registry system and method for the use thereof are provided which permits secure access to a database containing selected data on a plurality of entities, at least portions of which database has restricted access. Mechanisms are provided for controlling access to restricted access portions of the database are provided, such access being determined by at least one of the identity of the requesting entity and the entity'"'"'s status. A multicharacter public code may be provided which the system can map to provide permit delivery of items, complete telephone calls and perform other functions for entities. The system may also be utilized to locate an individual based on limited biological data. Organizations utilizing the system may have custom software facilitating their access and use of the system.
