Abstract

A system and method comprises one or more processors coupled to a memory and reads instructions from the memory to perform the step of determining that a user is near the store, determining an object for recommending to the user from an inventory for the store, rendering a digital image of an avatar wearing the object, and instructing a device to display the digital image of the avatar wearing the object.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

one or more processors coupled to a memory and configured to read instructions from the memory to perform the steps of;

determining a user is near the store;

determining an object for recommending to the user from an inventory for the store;

rendering a digital image of an avatar wearing the object; and

causing the digital image of the avatar wearing the object to be displayed on a user device.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein determining a user is near a store comprises receiving communications from a beacon indicating the presence of the user device.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein determining the object for recommending to the user from the inventory for the store comprises receiving an identifier from the user device, determining an avatar attribute linked to the identifier, and determining the object that fits the attribute.

4. The system of claim 3, wherein the attribute is a waist size.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processors performs the additional step of:

receiving a purchase request for the object.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processors performs the additional step of:

indicating to a merchant device for the store that the object is reserved for the user.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processors performs the additional step of:

sending location information of the object to the user device.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processors performs the additional step of:

receiving instructions to hold the object for pick up from the user device.

9. A computer implemented method comprising:

determining a user is near a store;

determining an object for recommending to the user from an inventory for the store;

rendering a digital image of an avatar wearing the object; and

causing the digital image of the avatar wearing the object to be displayed on a user device.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the avatar is a digital doppelganger of the user.

11. The method of claim 9, wherein the digital image of the avatar wearing the object is rendered based on a measurement of the user and a measurement of the object.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein the measurement of the user is retrieved from a body scan of the user.

13. The method of claim 9, wherein determining the object for recommending to the user from the inventory for the store comprises matching a first brand of the object to a second brand in a purchase history of the user.

14. The method of claim 9, wherein determining the object for recommending to the user from the inventory for the store further comprises matching an attribute of the avatar with an attribute of the object.

15. The method of claim 9, wherein determining the object for recommending to the user from the inventory for the store further comprises determining that the object is not in a browsing history of the user.

16. A system comprising:

a beacon; and

a processor configured to;

receive an indication from the beacon that a user device of a user is near the beacon;

determining an object for recommending to the user from an inventory for the store;

rendering a digital image of an avatar wearing the object; and

sending the digital image of the avatar wearing the object to the user device.

17. The system of claim 16, wherein the image is part of an animation.

18. The system of claim 16, further comprising a non-transitory computer readable medium;

wherein the processor is further configured to;

receive an indication that the object was purchased by the user; and

store the indication that the object was purchased in the non-transitory computer readable medium.

19. The system of claim 16, further comprising a non-transitory computer readable medium;

wherein the processor is further configured to;

receive a pause data collection setting from the user device;

receive an indication that the object was purchased by the user; and

prevent recording of the indication that the object was purchased by the user on the non-transitory computer readable medium based on the pause data collection setting.

20. The system of claim 19, wherein the processor is further configured to:

receive a request to delete the indication that the object was purchased from the user device; and

delete the indication that the object was purchased based on the received indication.
