Abstract

A system provides for locking or unlocking a lock at a door of an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling by a designated dwelling user. An intelligent door lock system includes a remotely operable lock at a dwelling accessible by a user and a server in communication with the intelligent door lock system. A user mobile device is in communication with the server. The user mobile device includes an App that provides for locking and/or unlocking of the lock of the intelligent door lock system. The user communicates with the server using the user'"'"'s mobile device, and the server is configured to process the user crossings one or more geo-locations relative to the dwelling and create a data set that is stored in a database.

Claims

1. A system that provides for locking or unlocking a lock at a door of an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling by a designated dwelling user, comprising:

are intelligent door lock system with a remotely operable lock at a dwelling accessible by a user;

a server in communication with the intelligent door lock system;

a user mobile device in communication with the server, the user mobile device including an App that provides for locking and/or unlocking of the lock of the intelligent door lock system, the user communicating with the server using the user'"'"'s mobile device, the user'"'"'s mobile device including a decision making engine; and

wherein the server is configured to process the user crossings one or more geo-locations or geo-fences relative to the dwelling and creates a data set that is stored in a database.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein when the one or more geo-fences, that define one or more geo-fence areas, has been entered the server begins accesses a history of crossing of the one or more geo-fences for the lock and creates the data set.

The system of claim 2, wherein when the one or more when a geo-fence area has been entered the server collects a history of crossing geo-fences for the lock and creates a data set along with other live data selected from at least one of, WiFi access point data, accumulated motion data of the user during the time the user was outside a geo-fence, and a time of day.

14. The method of claim 3, further comprising:

Collecting by the server, when the one or more when a geo-fence area has been entered, a history of crossing geo-fences for the lock; and

creating the data set along with other live data selected from at least one of, WiFi access point data, accumulated motion data of the user during the time the user was outside a geo-fence, and a time of day.

4. The system of 3, wherein the intelligent door lock system has associated operational configuration data.

5. The system of claim 4, wherein in response to the associated operational configuration data the server processes the data set.

6. The system of claim 5, wherein in response to the associated operation configuration data the server processes the data set and the other live data

7. The system of claim 6, wherein the data that the server processes produces a set of parameter types and associated values.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein the decision making engine of the user'"'"'s mobile device associates different probability values on at least a portion of parameters in the set of parameters.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the decision making engine associates the different probability values and combines them to form a single yes/no decision.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the decision making engine determines if the user desires the door to be locked or unlocked.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein when the user decides that the door should be locked the server enables Bluetooth and begins trying to connect to the lock of intelligent door lock system.

18. The method of claim 6, further comprising:

producing a set of parameter types and associated values.

19. The method of claim 18, further comprising:

using the decision making engine of the user'"'"'s mobile device to associate different probability values on at least a portion of parameters in the set of parameters.

20. The method of claim 19, further comprising:

using the decision making engine to associate the different probability values and combine them to form a single yes/no decision.

21. The method of claim 20, further comprising:

using the decision making engine to determine if the user desires the door to be locked or unlocked.

22. The method of claim 21, wherein when the user decides that the door should be locked the server enables Bluetooth and begins trying to connect to the lock of intelligent door lock system.

12. A method for locking or unlocking a lock at a door of an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling by a designated dwelling user, comprising:

communication between a server and the intelligent door lock system;

using a user mobile device to communicate with the server, the user mobile device including an App that provides for locking and/or unlocking of a lock of the intelligent door lock system;

communicating with the server using the user'"'"'s mobile device, the us mobile device including a decision making engine;

processing by the server in response to the user crossing one or more geo-fences relative to the dwelling;

creating a data set is response to the processing by the server; and

remotely operating a lock at the dwelling accessible by the user.

13. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

accessing by the server when the one or more geo-fences, that define one or more geo-fence areas, have been entered, a history of crossing of the one or more geo-fences for the lock; and

creating the data set.

15. The method of 14, wherein the intelligent door lock system has associated operational configuration data

16. The method of claim 15, further comprising

processing by the server the data set in response to the associated operational configuration data.

17. The method of claim 16, further comprising:

processing by the server the data set and the other live data in response to the associated operation configuration data.
